Well Bigfoot,er,George,you've brought up some interesting points here.Now I know you were not addressing me specifically,but like many others here,I just can't seem to stay out of the fray.

As to your first question,I would bet that since it's not a

frequent occurrence,when one who USED to have standing in the

community goes south and joins the greenies,all concerned

should be informed.

Everyone should have the opportunity to form their own opinion.

#2&3C'mon man,those were fleeting news items,I think this

stick will be floating for some time.

#4 I'm sure everyone is disturbed that you're disappointed

but surely you don't expect anyone to believe that you

are opposed to kid games,things like, make believe names,

posting anonymous things that likely aren't true,you know

#5 Your title suggestion,C'mon man,that slippery little

And last but not least,productiveness is in

mind of the beholder,as for me,I think it's hilarious

watching the wagons get circled and you guys stepping all

over each other to cover your buddy.Oh and by the way

After having become totally nauseated with this thread, I have only one thing left to say. I read daily were someone has a rifle that will shoot quarter-minute groups all day long, (If I do my part)

Well I bet there are rifles out there that will shoot 1/2 groups for one person and 1 1/2 to 2 inch groups for the next.

Does that sound familiar to anyone?

The maligned person in question could possibly shoot your 2inch grouping hunting rifle into 1/2" groups.

I don't claim to be able to do that but If I ever want to try, I know where I will go to have my rifle built.

I fixed that one for you "azmastablasta". Is that what your friends and family call you? And as far as posting things that aren't true, OK, completely true might be a better fit, I believe that has already been covered.

LOL,this has got to be some of the WEIRDEST ****,I've ever read on this forum.Reminds me of school boys in a pushing match during recess at gramer school.But it has been entertaining to say the least.

The new version is better but still a bit slanted IMO. I suggest that you keep it locked and again ask that this one be locked as well. Comments really serve no purpose other than to cause emotions to run high and as been evidenced in this thread, that will get some of us in trouble.

The biggest problem I had was not with what was posted, but throwing the man overboard for the sharks to get and then watching as the water boiled was a little over the top.

Are you trying to discredit his "close friends"? Would you prefer them to be seen as guilty by association? Would an apology or explanation get the soiled ones off the naughty list?

I stand behind every word I'm responsible for in this thread. Dan Carey is my friend, however, he is his own man. No one here has condoned, supported, agreed with, vindicated, or encouraged the mention of PETA, joke or not. It wasn't funny. It wasn't well advised. The vast majority here and at the other board condemned it from the start. There was no argument on that. Because Dan is my friend, I chose to speak for him when the disparaging comments began because he couldn't here. I couldn't stand idly by and watch as he was drawn and quartered without trying to present a little of the background behind the events. I suspect that most would do the same for a friend. Dan got carried away and made a mistake, a HUGE mistake. He is, and will continue to pay the price for his misdeed. I hope he weathers the storm and has learned from his error. Were he not my friend, I don't know that I'd feel the same.

We will repeat, none of the above is the issue. The issue is and will remain, using AND encouraging the use of ARA type groups against fellow hunters.


 
Well if PredatorMonsters was not in the top 10 sites they may be by now thanks to this thread.

And not for a second do I believe all this PETA stuff is that worthy of posting either, the real motive behind all this is not some other organization or individual trying to destroy predator hunting.

And I don't think all the hits here at PM or at the Monsters forum are concerned members looking for a way to fight PETA either.

They are sitting on the sidelines watching a brawl, nothing more.

Those of us who have been around awhile and read the threads here and there know exactly what's going on.

What is just as alarming as this PETA stuff, is the complete deviation from PredatorMasters philosophy or at least past philosophy of taking the high road in times of conflict.

I think anyone who has double standards, supports hypocrisy, is involved in desperate treatment of certain people for political motives also lacks credibility in what they profess also.

For staff here that go to other websites sign on under assumed names and make vulgar comments that you would not allow your mom or wife to read, then come back over here and insist others follow the TOS is hypocrisy in the 1st degree.

Since civil action has been discussed more than a couple times depending on the issue at hand, whatever civil action someone thought they had now or in the future has been lost as a result of their own hypocrisy.

You can't go to court and ask for relief when the plaintiff is just as guilty as the defendant, as the evidence in the last several month would clearly show.

So unless those members here have read all the post over the last several months, they are not AWARE of all the facts that motivated this thread.

PredatorMasters banned people because of their conduct here, OK, it is what it is. So those banned have went and started their own websites elsewhere and carry on what they want to discuss, good or bad.

But since some still talk trash about PM or certain members here, SOME have chose to violate their own philosophy and still try and retaliate against those who shall we say talk trash.

PM has revised it's policy in the TOS that in my interpretation pretty much says, "you talk trash about us or a member where ever, and we will ban you". /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

So someone goes to another website and spews garbage about someone, PM votes to ban the person if they so choose without any due process. I think in China if you speak badly of the goverment you go to jail or get executed. I think some call that a dictatorship.

But based on the evidence on other websites THAT still isn't good enough, because even after being banned you still talk trash, the staff will come to that website and challenge you and curse you.

The downside is those staff members come back over here like nothing happened and throw up the PM ADMINISTRATION sign leading all of us to believe that the ENTIRE staff supports the issue.

I can't believe that some the staff members would support certain staff members going over to another website and say the things I've read. I SURE HOPE that's not the case.

So as another member said this thread became a train wreck the moment it was posted.

And for those thinking they have support based on the comments from some members, I can't believe those members would support double standards and hypocrisy to acheive certain goals either. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

And for the record I am not a member of PredatorMonsters.

Yes I have been the victim in the past of a couple from PredatorMonsters, I didn't sign onto their website to do battle with anyone either.

Someday I'll meet those people and see if they want to say to my face what they said on the internet and we will go from there.

In the meantime, it's the internet, and yes I'm sure I'll get angry again over something. BUT I WON'T sign onto that site and do battle over a keyboard.
