CZ makes the whole rifle with threaded muzzle.
I bought mine from Sportsman Guide.
They moved the feed lips around on the magazine.
You can buy them for $50, even on eBay.

I picked up a used/unfired CZ 527 American in 204R today. Nice wood and looks like it new. Traded a Savage Model 12 204 for it. Thought it was a fair trade and about 6 pounds lighter.
Well good for you, Bill. Although for my kind of shooting I would prefer the varmint version but if you are going to carry more than shoot then that's where the American really shines.
I loved the Model 12 but being so heavy it didn't get shot much. I had added a laminate stock so it was a tank. I want to chase coyotes with the CZ and figure it will be much more pleasant to carry and hopefully shoot as good. we shall see. They had a 223 in the varmint but I have a 223 already.
