I still say poison them. so what you get a few pet dogs and cats. better then them attacking a child playing in someones yard.
With action comes responsibility.
The above is not responsible in any way.
Poisoning of predators is highly regulated and done by qualified govt. employees that are trained to minimize the collateral damage and environmental impact.
To willfully cast poison out so that pets, or prhaps even kids can come into contact with it is not only illegal, it's reprehensible. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
With some poisons used in an illegal fashion, it not only kills the coyote, but it kills anything that touches it, and anything that eats what died of it, and anything that eats THAT animal as well. The impact of such activity stays in an area for a long time....
A bird affected by such poison may fly and die in someone's yard to be eaten by a pet, which ultimately suffers the same fate.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
We need to think things through before we suggest something....While coyotes may pose a danger to kids in certain situations, the effects of poisoning can be just as real, and perhaps even more dangerous.
Something to think about. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
