Dropped a Coy-Wolf, or did I?

What a monster. This dog was 50-60lbs we figure. Video will be forthcoming, but sadly it isn't that good since some grass got in the way of the camera man. This dog was CLEVER. Not clever enough as it turns out. It looks a lot like a coyote, but its just too big.

That thing is a hog! Just looking at the shape of his various parts, ie. head, nose, jaw/teeth, ears, feet, tail. I really think it is just a big coyote. Any other shots that show his build from a different angle would be helpful. Congrats, great animal!
 
There is nothing wolf about that... If you have ever seen a wolf compared to a coyote there is an incredible difference in their proportions, leg length, snout length, paw size, etc. Huge coyote for sure, not a coy wolf though.
 
I am jealous you guys out there get to use those snazzy suppresors,not in my Commie State....

I did ask Mass. Fish and Game about that....maybe thats why there are drones over my house all the time..

Got tired of guessing so many years back we started carrying a scale with us so we would know for sure. We have killed several over 50 with the biggest at 58. The dog in this picture looks bigger than the 58 my Uncle killed several years back. We killed one at 53 the other day and posted it and this one looks bigger again.
 
Well I'll certainly defer to the experience of those here. I've never shot a wolf, so if you guys say coyote... then it's a coyote. The biggest coyote of my calling career. We figured him over 60lbs, but since we aren't much on bragging we called it on the low side. Just an absolute bruiser of a dog. I hope to have the video done tomorrow.

I would too... But I still think it could have some wolf in its bloodstream... It's ear looks rounded instead of real pointy like coyotes, it could just be the angle..
