JRB: I did read about the film and I still intend to view it and that is it. Nothing liberal or anything about it...just a curiousity. As for Clinton's book..NO I will NOT read it out of curiousity because I already KNOW about his dirty laundry that he has chosen to rehash. Roll your eyes and I will roll mine. I am not close minded..period..end of story. I do not believe everything I read about the film..I have read good and I have read bad...I want to form MY OWN opinion. You are chosing to let the people who view it in a negative way form yours! That of course is your right to do.
Weedwacker: Do tell...what do YOU know about these so called reductions in medications for seniors and the disabled? As I have seen...there is NO real benefit unless you are so poor you can barely eat. I worked hard all my life to have what I have and I pay top dollar for my medications. There is NO reason for me to participate in this sham of a program and YES I have inquired! I will continue to buy in Canada until they arrest me for my *illegal* purchases. HAH! That is ONE thing that GW did that disgusts me entirely...tell us where to buy our meds and fatten the drug companies pockets. sheesh Now I am NOT Bush bashing..that is really only ONE thing that SO FAR I have a REAL beef about. I dare say though that when Medicare reform comes through it will be just like the *ahem* stuff that HMOs pull off! Our health care system is in shambles. The only real benefits are to the insurance companies. I am sickened that they can tell doctors how to practice medicine! Yes...doctors ruined it by ordering ridiculous tests...but I recently had a growth on an ovary. The very NEXT thing any prudent doctor would do is a blood test called the CA125. HAH..the insurance company said it was NOT medically necessary! I called and quite naturally flipped out. I suppose they would rather wait and treat a person for Ovarian cancer which can be rather costly. Why not TRY to find it early. The growth was picked up on a CTScan for something else so there were no symptoms and had it been cancer, it would have been early in the game. Luckily it was not...I still do not know for sure if they will pay...but $125 is a small cost in reality for me..I just find the entire thing ludicrous!
