You bet! my old .308 Century Arms standard, thumper.
Trigger was very heavy & gritty. I pulled the front little plate off, & ground down the little "female cup" that the trigger return spring rested in. Doing so, reduced & "smoothed" out the trigger pull dramatically.
Mine was never real accurate with factory loads. But I loved to hear her roar, firing on fast semi-auto. I liked the noise /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
