anybody got a clue why you can't find a flextone echo anywhere. It's hard to believe that they can be that far behind in producing them, I've had one ordered since Jan 15th. If anybody knows where I can geet one please let me know,,,, thanks
I got my flextone in December and have been real happy with it. I have called in couple of coyotes and foxes. I also have a foxpro spitfire which is also nice but comes with one cone speaker compared to the flextone two speaker system, foxpro only have 24 sounds until you are able purchase another card to download different sounds to it. Depending on how much money you have and what features you want go with foxpro but if you just want an entry level E caller the flextone would be the call to go to.
I have a echo and love it... if mine was stolen or lost... I'd buy another one in a minute.... if I could find one... LOL. Maybe that backorder problem is telling you that they must be in high demand.
Thanks for all the responses. Was told that they will not be in until the end of the month or March. With a little research I was able to find them at Dick's sporting goods. They not only matched the price but gave free shipping also.I'm new to coyote hunting and just laid out a bunch of money for gun, decoys, scope and lights. Most of the reviews I have read on this unit, on this site have been positive. It's not a FoxPro but maybe it'll do the job until I can upgrade. Thanks again
i bought one 2 weeks ago,and i also have a mighty atom 15.this little call is crystal clear, maybe 1/2 as loud as the mighty atom, remote work great.plenty loud to call predators.all in all fantastic caller for the price, and with that 90 w.t sounds.
I got one last weekend at gander mtn.in realtree max 1 camo for 129.00. Charded it up and hunted with it tuesday evening ,it works great love the sounds on it.I also have a spitfire but like the flextone much better it has all the volume you need.My next caller will be a mighty atom 15 love those WT sounds.

There is bad reviews on every product!
good post!
i have the echo er1! i know its not the best call but in my opinion the remote and range works better than the spitfire. i think most whom have had both will agree with me on this. I havent used it much do to being buisy with family and working on my new rifle but the very FIRST time i brought it out i popped a coyote with #4 buck at 12 yards with vole mouse distress! he came in a B line and made no attempt to get downwind! This call works great and then some! IM SOLD ON THIS PRODUCT!
Dick's met the price of Native Outdoors (it was 119.00) and there was free shipping on purchases over 79.00. At the time I ordered the operator said they had 50 in stock. I've read all the reviews and it's just like everything else, some people get them and love others get them and have problems. I'm sure if you research enought you will find good and bad with any products man makes. I just can't justifiy 500.00 dollars on something I don't know if I'm really gonna like (predator hunting). I'm hoping that I will like this sport as much as I love deer hunting and if I do I will later on invest or up-grade as time and money permit. This is just my humble opinion.
i dont have to swing my arms around like a ape at 75 yards to get the remote to work in the cold...
I watched my buddy do that the other day and laughed at him the whole day! I told him we should just put some feathers on his hand or the remote and we would have another decoy. Needless to say he wasn't very happy with me.
they say the flextone remote reaches 300 yards to the caller. i have not tried it that far, just 50 to 60 yards is the farthest i have tried it. no matter if your on a hill, or have leaves and shrub all over it and trees in the way of the remote, it NEVER fails to send the signal to the caller. with some of the cheaper callers i have had the remote would lose reception past 20 yards sometimes 15 yards.
The remote range on mine is awsome. Me and a buddy called some crows at his house and then went squirrel hunting. Coming back,I noticed the remote in my pocket and decided what the heck. Hit it and "caw caw caw",lol. This was a good 300 yds through the woods. I did have to get some good rechargable batterys after only a few times of using it but I think it still a good deal. Think I might just take it out this afternoon if it would quit snowing.

Yeah, and it's lookin like I may have to be one of those bad ones.
My wife drove 65 miles one way to pick one up for me at Dicks last weekend. I had to take it back because I think it was a return to start with. ( They only had the one.) I take it out of the box and the batteries had already been installed and the whole bit. Even plugged in I couldn't get it to come on. I took it back the next day and ordered one online from Dicks. It's been charging all night last night and most of today, and it won't come on either. This one will at least come on when I plug the charger up to it.
I'm pretty disgusted with the whole thing right now. I started to go with the Spitfire, but chose this one because of the extra sounds. Not so sure I made the right choice.
