I just traded a goose call for a foxpro 416B no remote. Has any one had an issue with the wire for the speaker breaking off after so many times of having to unscrew the cap. If so did you modify it?

When opening the caller hold the center of the speaker (cone part) so it doesn't turn when you unscrew the outer ring. I used to have one and that is what I did to prevent the wires inside from twisting.

I'm glad I saw this. I broke a wire unbeknownst to me on the battery connection for the battery pack on my 416B yesterday and while resoldering it, I was wondering if there had to be a better way of screwing the speaker back on each time I changed batteries and not twisting the wires. You see, my speaker was hot glued onto the ring and I had to turn it the opposite direction for about a turn, then screw it back on so the wires wouldn't twist so bad. I read this and broke it loose and removed the glue. Now, no problem!

It dont download. You play the sound and use the PG1A to record it to the Foxpro. You may have to play with the volume to get it to sound right. You plug the PG1A into the speaker jack and connect it to the wire inside the Foxpro.
