foxpro fury question

I just purchased a foxpro fury. Is the round "selector" know on the top of the TX500 remote supposed to scroll thru sounds with every "click" of the knob? Mine doesn't do it on every "click" sometimes it takes two or three to get it to move. Kind of annoying cause then it goes too far! lol
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks again guys!

Mine gets worse when it's really cold. I'm sending it back to fox pro after season is over. They told me they would fix it for free. Gotta love that

It's suppose to do that. I believe they changed it to 2/3 click per selection. I read on the FoxPro forums that single clicks per selection was too sensitive.

Thanks guys, I was just curious.
Mark2, I will be sending my remote back to have foxbang added and they also said they'd do a cold weather upgrade for free.
Sounds like foxpro knows how to take care of their customers! Wish other companies would follow suit.

Saws, the irratic scrolling in cold weather is a known issue with both the Fury remote and the FX5 remote. I sent both of my remotes back to FoxPro last summer and they fixed them. My Fury II remote now has a different knob that you twist against a stop to change the sounds one at a time. No more jumping and skipping around.

This ^^^^. No, it is not supposed to be erratic or scroll 2/3 sounds. They do scoll 1 whole page however once you get to the top/bottom sound on the screen. as mentioned, FoxPro has an upgraded knob that no longer spins endlessly in both directions. It now turns half way to either side then springs back to the center according to FoxPro CS. mine is erratic as well and will be going in for repair once fur goes south for the year.

I bought a brand new fury yesterday and it scrolled erratic so I took it back and got a new one. I get home get that one going and the remote worked perfect but as soon as I turned the speaker on it was blasting on a setting and would not volume down so I took that one back and finally got one that is working

When did FoxPro start to use the knob that springs back or do you have to send it in get that knob? I just bought a new Fury II and it has the erratic knob that spins all the way around both ways.

I bought my Fury II from APC back in February or early March, and it came with the erratic knob. I had an issue with my remote scrolling erraticly when it was cold from the start, and then not controlling the volume on a couple of stands in early summer. Next, my sound board failed in early July. That's when I sent the Fury II back to FoxPro to get its issues repaired and my remote updated with the new knob. Not sure if they are shipping new Fury II's with the updated knob or not. My Fury II has been working perfectly so far this season.

FoxPro just sent me a tx505 to replace my tx500 and it has the new style knob on it. I figured it came standard on the tx505 but I could be wrong. You might give FoxPro a call and im sure they can help.

I got my call from Cabelas. It could of been on the self for awhile. Do you like that new knob just going one click at a time? Seems to me it would take a long time to get from sound to sound.
