those are beyond repair. WAY beyond repair. kinda a double edged sword, was out shooting took my glasses off to move back and left them on the roof. well hit a bump and now they are on the hood. i go OH crap glasses slow down.... well (thank you mister newton) the stopping caused them to fly off the hood and of course i couldnt stop on a dime and BAM......

I will have to say +1 for foxcpro, i called about painting my caller and they said tape up the speaker and any exposed keypads/switches/electronics and youre good. will nt void the warranty.

Utah 1911.. what I would do is immediately go to a completely Chinese caller, with a Chinese warranty. It sounds like you would be happier that way. Try it out and then report back. I too am happy with My FoxPro Fury. My 3rd model. Good luck!

This is almost funny. Buy a Ford or a Chevy today and see how many Japanese and foreign made parts are in them yet they're said to be American made.

I just bought my 5th Foxpro. Yes, I've used their customer service because I happened to drop my FX3 off of the cab of my truck and one of the wires came loose. I also upgraded my FX3 to an FX5. Both times the caller came back with no delay.

They make a quality product and I've had a lot of success with each caller I've owned. I traded up to the FX3 which is now an FX5 which I still own. I also have a Scorpion that I bought for a backup and as yet I've never needed it. I just bought an CS24C. It looks like a good quality piece of gear and I can't wait until I can get out to use it.

Yes, I/m haopy with Foxpro and I don't begrudge them making a profit. They have to stay competitive so I know they can't be that overpriced.

I also know that they're in a little war with Wildlife Technologies and this thread is a bit suspicious.

I would like to apologize to Foxpro for my "tirade" as it was referred to as. They are going to fix this for 80.00 dollars. The prices for the speakers are appropriate and so is the entire case that is broken. This guy is sold on their customer service and I couldn't be more pleased with how it got handled!!

There was a recent article that ranked the top 30 vehicles according to how much they're made here. And "here" was defined to include the USA & Canada.

The Toyota Tundra came in at #11 and it was the ONLY truck to make the top 30. Not a Ford, Chevy or Dodge to be found on it.

The list was actually dominated by "imports" that are more made here than the domestics are.

The article you quote is a little outdated. Here is the list from the June 30, 2014 edition:

Quote:Here's the 2014 list by model and where it is manufactured:

1. Ford F-150; Dearborn, Mich., and Claycomo, Mo.
2. Toyota Camry; Georgetown, Ky., and Lafayette, Ind.
3. Honda Odyssey; Lincoln, Ala.
4. Toyota Sienna; Princeton, Ind.
5. Toyota Tundra; San Antonio
6. Toyota Avalon; Georgetown, Ky.
7. Chevrolet Corvette Stingray; Bowling Green, Ky.
8. Honda Ridgeline; Lincoln, Ala.
9. Honda Crosstour; East Liberty, Ohio
10. Dodge SRT Viper; Detroit

The most disturbing thing is those are the only 10 that qualified for inclusion. In 2011, the year you quoted there were 30. 2012 had 20, and 2013 had 14...

Dang, the secret is out.

it's all about money. While I know the Dillon brothers love to hunt predators they also love them greenbacks. And if they can sell the products and make money regardless of where parts come from and make a good profit they aren't going to say no. I have owned 2 fox pros and been happy with both. so I can't really complain as I guess I contributed to the machine.
