Quote:
These units will come standard with 50 sounds, but can hold up to 200 sounds--no need for additional expensive sound cards!

Sounds great but the timing of the release sucks....how can I be without my beloved FX3 in October right when the seasons come back in???? How about I drive up to PA and you upgrade mine while I wait. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

PERFECT... Now I dont feel so bad that I havnt bought an FX3. And Plenty of time to save up the rest of the $$ for the FX5. Thanks Mike.

Oh and Mike one quick question since no one else has asked yet... can I have the one you posted the picture of? I promise I'll give it a good home.

Yotecallr,

The unit will come standard with the 50 sounds of your choice. You can install any of your own sounds into the unit, or if you want more of our sounds, they will cost $20.00 per 16 sounds. We have a lot of new sounds coming that promise to be the best quality ever offered.

bowhunter09,

Yes, you could drive up, and we can upgrade it while you wait. Just give us a heads up if you decide to come.

wildbill02,

Are you kidding! That's my personal unit, LOL!

Thanks for all of the comments guys! It makes all of the hard work and long hours worthwhile.

I thought my wife was going to break her neck as she snapped around to glare at me when I announced this! Then I thought she might consider trying to break mine when I said I couldn't wait until October when I could send my FX3 in for the upgrade!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

Mike, remember my buddy and I came up to pick up my FX3? Well, come October 1st, I think I'll be knocking on your door again. If the date changes that you can upgrade them let me know. I'll be up again.

$700.00!!! I admit the FX5 has lots of bells and whistles, but to my way of thinking that is obscenely priced.

Bill,

The FX5 is not a cheap unit by any stretch---it was never intended to be. All other units will remain in our lineup, with more to come. What's even better is that you can purchase the FX3, and then upgrade later for the price difference in the units. And when you compare the features compared to others, you will see that you are certainly getting your money's worth. One gigabyte of memory is not cheap. We could have cut corners to bring the cost down, but it would have reflected in the product--something we have NO desire to to. We designed the FX5 to simply be the best unit ever brought to market, and I think you will find that if fits the bill. Maybe it's not for you, but there are certainly plenty of other callers that you can choose from.

hey mike are you by any chance gonna have one this weekend at the ppha randy anderson seminar? I would love to take a good gander at this thing.

Being able to upgrade our FX3's is awesome and the functionality of the new remote is virtualy impossible to resist.

I can see I picked the right horse to ride when it comes to ecallers!

If there is a negative here it is the timing. It will be hard to pry my current remote from my hand come October. Please keep us posted should you find you are able to begin doing the upgrades earlier. I'm driving to NY next week and could alter my route with even the slightest encouragement [!?!]

Foxpro What does CH=C U=13 and 12:30 mean and how do you use it.
The ability to play wav. mp3 or or your own special or propriety sound formats are a must for the a caller today who wants to get the most use out of his time and caller. I really like the screen showing the sounds.

Coyotechet,

The CH=C indicates that the current channel you are on is channel C. We have removed the toggle switch to change channels. In order to change them, there is a combination key press (P3 and P4) that will take you to a submenu to select the channel.

The V=13 indicates the current volume level. When you adjust the volume, the number will adjust accordingly.

The 12:30 is the timer. The transmitter will have an on/off switch. When you turn the transmitter on, the timer will begin counting.

Hope this helps.

Can I upgrade my Western Rivers Predidation to the FX5 for $200? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif If so I'm in. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowingsmilie.gif

Mike Dillion,

Thanks for the response and your right when you stated , “ Maybe it’s not for you”. That’s the conclusion that I have come to based on price. I’m certain there are others with differing opinions. You make a very good product and I hope for continued success for the Foxpro line.

Having ability to play wav. mp3 or propriety sound formats are a MUST for the a caller today who wants to get the most use out of his time and caller. The more a person uses the caller the more he will find this true. By being able to use new and different sounds the caller can go back to his favorite spots or in area that are heavlly called areas and find success and enjoyment of using the caller much more often. And with ALL the Ele-callers being sold on the market today this is getting to be much truer then ever.

The screen showing the sounds names is REALLY GREAT idea particularly when having the ability of having 100 sounds and even more if wanted what a great idea.

I am going to buy me another ELE-caller this year and the choice is getting bigger and better all the time.

When is the FX5 going the be on the market ready buy.
