As promised, here is the unit that we have been referring to for some time, and as promised, will be the loudest unit available anywhere. This unit was intended to target the crow and snow goose hunters (obviously by the name) who demand nothing but the loudest volume possible. As it gets ready to release, the name may change, as we wouldn't want to offend the predator hunters who also would like this unit in their arsenal. The unit will come standard with two of the large speakers shown. There is a total of 4 speaker jacks, and we have chosen the beefy connectors for our speakers for maximum durability and reliability. This unit will have the same great features as the FX3 (except the portability!). It will also come standard with our TX-5LR transmitter (700 yard range), and the 32 calls of your choice. Again, as I have stated earlier about these large external speakers, they offer the smoothest frequency response, and best overall efficiency of any that we have tested (including the well known TOA speaker), and are made right here in the USA! This unit will no doubt exceed the $600.00 price range. I will provide more details in the near future. This unit should be ready to ship in approx 6-8 weeks. Thanks!

I can definately see this in the middle of a snow goose field. Great idea on the monster connectors. Does it come with earplugs for the user?

Great idea...Tony

I'll just go to the bottum of the canyons i'm going to hunt cougars this year and set it up and wait five hours cool. got a real good gps i'm serios about the canyon's. just need more cougar sound's will be in business. Rick

That should do it Mike. You guys at FOXPRO can take a break now. Smoke'em if you got'em. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I just had one of those big speakers plugged into my new FX3 a few minutes ago when a friend of mine called. I asked him to step outside and see if he could here it. Jack lives over a mile away and doesn't have good hearing. He said it sounded funny because he could hear it over the phone way before he could hear it reach him through the air. I bet my neighbors were wondering what was going on because I had Ina Gada Lavida /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif(sp?) loaded on the FX3.

Mike ,

Why would you test a competitor's speaker ? Did you plan on using it if it came out on top ?

Looks to me like some call makers are still chasing after the WT . Even willing to sacrifice a few features that have been key in some comparative debates in the past, portability and price. Huh. Good luck. That unit should be plenty loud.

With that setup you can set the FX3 beside it, then when the critters come up to the FX3, hit the Snow Crow on it's loudest setting and kill the animal standing beside it. Nice looking setup. Very durable looking.

We need a smiley that shows a huge HIGH 5. Awesome fellas. Thats is going to be awesome.

God Bless,

what can I say but AWESOME!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Mike, will we be able to put our own sounds on this bad boy? I have some neighbors that might need the sound of a chopper landing at 4am /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif to get back at that loud stereo at 2am in their car .

Brian D,

The TOA is not a competitors speaker. It is one that is commercially available to anyone. It just so happens to be the one that they have chosen to use. We tested it, and were going to originally use it, but decided not to after we got our hands on these speakers. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thanks!

Wildbill02,

Yes, you will be able to put your own sounds in this unit. It will feature a USB port, just like the FX3. Let me know if I can be of further assistance. The Snow Crow Pro is just another unit in our line up. It is going to weigh approx 17 lbs, so this unit will only be for those who don't care about weight. And, I can assure you, that we are not chasing WT. In fact, I think you will find just the opposite to be true /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif.

TOA is the name of the manufacturer of a large speaker. They also have some knock off versions. TOA speakers are made in Indonesia. I hope this helps. Thanks!

cougarbait,

Hunters Buddy also used these same cases for about 8+ years. These are commercially available cases for anyone to use. We are not using a pelican case. How long have the other guys been making callers? We are in our 10th year now, and have always used commercially available cases (until the FX3). I am sure at some time, we will also get a mold made for this unit, once it has been out and proven itself (as our other products have). Let me know if I can be of further assistance. And, I can also assure you that this unit will have much more power, and is completely different than any that have been done before.
