Glock and Roll.

I had been looking for a new compact handgun for awhile now. I had looked at the ruger sr9c, kel tecs, s&w Airweights, and countless others. In the end I decided on a glock 26.

Never thought I'd be the owner of a glock but they all of a sudden started growing on me for some reason. Tell you what, crow dosen't taste so good.

Anyway, here is the 26. If anybody wants to post up pics of their glocks, feel free.

Now, you need to install a Pierce grip extension on the magazine to hold you finger... You will find that the recoil is so much more manageable...

Thanks man. I did look at the xd actually. Wasn't that it was too big it's just the glock felt better to me. I like the look of the xds though

You`ll love that gun, Have a couple of 19s and a 23 that are great shooters. I haved owned at least one Glock since 1993 and only 1 malfucntion.

I have a buddy that is the same way! It seems like both have their following and most prefer the feeling of one quite a bit over the other.

I have a healthy addiction started, too.

These two are a Model 27(subcompact 40 S&W), and a
Model 20 SF(full size 10mm Auto). I have a Model 30 SF
on the way.

I thought black rifle disease was bad. Poly pistols are
just as bad.

My Glock 27 with Trijicon Night Sights.

Edited to add: I replaced the serrated trigger with a smooth trigger from a G22. While doing this I also installed a polished 3.5# connector.

Yep, those Glocks are just like popcorn no way to just have one! I love the way they function and shoot. They are easy to use and safe if you keep your finger off the trigger. I have a 27, 17, and 22. My daughter wanted a gun for self defense and I had her buy the 19. She shoots it well. My son in law has a 23 now. My son is a LEO and he carries a compensated 22 for duty and a 27 like mine for off duty carry. The mag extension is a good idea really helps control and doesn't change the ability to conceal the gun easily. What type of holsters do you guys perfer for conceal carry?

I use a Bianchi Carry Lock. I don't like IWB holsters, even though they conceal a firearm better. I have found the Bianchi to be secure and hold the Glock close to my body for better concealement and yet still be comfortable.

A quality belt is also needed to have a comfortable carry setup.

I have Blackhawk CQC holsters for the G27 and the G20.
I like them because they adapt quickly to either belt(for
competition), or paddle(quick on and off), and the pistol is
locked in until my trigger finger sweeps the release. The
front edge cut away helps for holstering, and reduced holster
wear.

For CC I have a Comp-Tac Infidel IWB. I am not fond of leather
for close to body carry, so the Infidel is a good choice in
a serpa holster. It hides my G27 well with just a dark
t-shirt, over jeans shorts.

Glocks are about as ugly as they get, but they do function. Here is my daily carry.

Not sure how many rounds through this one, but have yet to have a FTF or a FTE. They do what they are supposed to.

Hey how do you like that ghostring sight ? Thought about one myself on one of my 19`s

I dont have any pics of my Glocks, but I own a 19, 23, and 27. In my opinion the 27 was a waste because for concealment purposes, its really not that much smaller than the 23, and not nearly as comfortable to shoot. However with that said, of the 12 handguns I own, I never leave home without one of my glocks. They are without a doubt the most trouble free reliable handgun I own. If my life is on the line, I pray I have a glock within reach. There is a reason that most LEO's carry glocks...they work...plain and simple. Granted they are nowhere near as pretty as my Kimber or Para 1911, but I have never had any kind of hiccup with my Glocks. Not the same could be said for some of my other handguns.
