HAND CALLS CHRISTMAS POEM

'Twas the night before Christmas,

the snow, it was fallin'.

Ole' Terry rang me up,

and said, " Let's go callin' ".

I grabbed some calls,

of walnut and myrtle.

And Terry showed up

with one he called Turtle.

Catwhacker rolled in,

with a call in his lap.

Said it sounds good,

but tastes just like crap.

Off to the fields,

freezin' and chillin',

With blood in our eyes,

ready for killin'.

We called and we called,

blew ourselves dizzy.

We didn't get bummed,

or wound up in a tizzy.

When out of the gloom,

Ole Wiley came sneakin',

sniffin' and runnin',

then crawlin' and creapin'.

The Swift did it's magic,

the shot long, and true.

T-Bone said if your heart's pure,

you can make that shot too.

Ole Wiley ran off,

then began to fall.

Another one laid low

by a Predator Masters call.

Merry Christmas to all my friends here at PM. You are the best group of people I've met, and proud to have you as friends.

Merry CHRISTmas to all you people here, you have provoded the fellowship i was seeking. i'm not much on poems but for my taste Rduy you better keep the day job and keep spinning calls. 1968 oh yeah i remember that one pretty good. thats the year that the president of the united states and my friends and neighbors decided i wanted to travel to further parts of the earth and learn how other people live.
