May 4, 2004....An AR-15 is put up on a raffle to support a childrens charity. The rifle is suppose to be made by GPSS and has the name of a very well respected hunter attached to it, as it is supposed to be a replica of his field gun.

I don't know the exact date but in July or August of 2004 the money for the rifle is sent to Tommy Haskins.

A scope is sent to Tommy Haskins who is to mount it on the gun prior to having it all camoflauged with Hydrographics camoflauge.

He tells everyone the gun is built and awaiting the drawing for the raffle to see who to send it to.

December 14, 2004.....the drawing is held and the winner announced.

Shortly there after Tommy Haskins is notified who the winner is via e-mail and by phone. He is sent the required FFL information and is "going to ship the gun".

Being it's the holidays no one is to concerned about the shipping and are thinking it will be after the first of the year and he will ship. WRONG

End of January......The Director of the Childrens Charity calls Tommy Haskins about the rifle, and is told he has it ready and will call him back the next day with shipping instructions. Tommy Haskins says the reason he hasn't shipped it before is becasuse his dad is having some health problems. (WRONG)

Middle of Febuary.....Tommy Haskins is contacted about the rifle. he states he has never been givien the name of the winner or any other information or recieved an FFL. (LIE)
When confronted with the e-mails he was sent he finally confesses he sold the gun to someone else, and he says we will just have to wait in line. He won't give a date or any other info.

The only reason he contactd me at the middle of Febuary is he was under the threat of legal action.

Here it is March, no gun, no money back and no scope. You guys tell me? Is he to be trusted? (Not in my book). Is what he did illegal? (yes, according to my Attorney he has violated several state and federal laws)

So Tommy Haskins what is your answer to this? Do you have one?

What do you guys think?

Whatever happened to the good old days when you could take a guy like that out back and beat him with a 5 foot length of garden hose?

I am sure someone will stick up for him or fell sorry for him. Last post I seen was over at AR15 where he was selling wild Boar Hunts for the 1st of March. And was wondering way no one was jumping at the chance to come to the Hunt. How was the hunt Tommy. We know you watching!

Where is that guy Steve...he started bashing him on a thread, than had nothing but praise for Tommy. Funny how people change their tune so quickly...I am sure someone will jump on board to defend Tommy's honor or lack of honor. I am glad I never had any dealings with him. How a person can sleep at night when they cheat a charity for children. This guy has pissed off so many people that there is a line forming to get what is owed to them. I feel badly for everyone that has been wronged by him and I hope that they get some justice in the end of this ongoing mess. I think that this forum should be held accountable as well...considering they allowed him to remain a member while he has continuously cheated people of their hard earned money. I have seen a few negative remarks, but the site didn't do anything to remove this liar from the honest members.

His being way late, or just not coming thru on orders is one thing, selling a scope sent in to him to be mounted and camoed is another, thats downright theft. Just ask those people that want to stand up for him if they would leave him the keys to thier house on a weekend they were gone. I bet they wouldn't.

I just read a 9 page thread at arf about him just now...this guy has some nerve...I am truly amazed that noone has gone to pay him a visit...I guess he needed the money more than the children's charity.

My intention is to inform everyone exactly what Tommy is about. I believe that those wronged should turn this over to the authorities. Believe me this makes me as mad as everyone else. However, nothing good can come from taking matters in our own hands.

Sorry my mistake its not OLN it Carolina Outdoors TV and Outdoor Journal.

Also I can't get the edit to work either

I bought 500 rounds from Georgia Precision on Dec. 18. No ammo yet. I e-mailed and they replied that blackhills ammo was backordered, but now I'm not so sure. I even used a credit card, that's scary. Didn't realize all the trouble was brewing.

My Question is, how many people here lost money? Because it should have been considered lost the day he pulled his website. He pulled this a few times before at ARF.com. Wish I would have been arround durring the initial startup. I have known of his dealings for years but I moved and wasnt able to warn anyone in time. I returned to PM to see where he had already stung everyone here. So, how many lost money?

All the people that have lost money to this guy should get together and file a class action suite against this guy and his company , you may never get you money refunded but you will keep your hunting buddies from making the same mistakes with this guy, you made. He should be reported to ATF in Alanta, GA and the Better Business Bureau. They will take his FFL if he is using it for Fraud and he can be prosecuted and put out of business. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

He not only should lose his FFL license, but he should never ben allowed to advertise on any forum...how a company like arf can allow him to remain a member "in good standing" is beyond me. Misunderstandings happen all the time and mistakes occur from time to time, but how many times must he cheat your honest members before a site does something about it...I bashed the arf site for their lack of action when it came to Tommy. I have never had any dealings with him, but I could not just sit back and read the numerous threads about his shady business practices. I agree that those who were cheated should go through the proper channels to resolve their ongoing issues...I was merely stating how I was very surprised that no one has gone to GA and confronted him face to face. He can hide behind his computer monitor all day long, but when you have angry customers in your face it's a different scenario.

Georgia Precision huh? I can do without that kind of businessman, and will. Best wishes.
