Have ya'll seen this about (Georgia Precision)?

Quote:
I am open to suggestions if any of you have any real ones that are constructive.

Tommy, I have a good friend that ordered a rifle from you, I believe September of last year. His name is George Brint. He told me a couple of weeks ago that he has tried contacting you and has heard nothing in return. Why not show him some courtesy by contacting him and letting him know what's going on instead of leaving him in the dark.

Well has Tommy sent out the rifle yet or did he just refuse to sign for the FFL and this why he can say he did not recive it. (Damm I might have just gave him a new ideal). I sure if it has not been ship it there is a good excuse. (I mean reason)

This will be helpful information to those who have been victims of GPSS/ Thomas H. HaskinsIII. The appropriate office to file a complaint is the Govenor's Office of Consumer Afairs at http://www2.state.ga.us/gaoca/. You may download a pdf file and fill out the form with details of misrepresentation, fraud or your complaint with this business/ person. Please do so immediately! This is the ONLY way to stop this nonsense. Please pass this on to all who have issues. It would also be prudent to pass any such complaint to the Georgia Better Business Bureau in Macon, GA which handles complaints for Forsyth, GA. Please report only facts which can be substantiated and no rumors. Do it with integrity, honesty and for the benefit of others as well as yourself.

Well, Tommy, I'm glad you got that rifle out. What about my $500? What about George mentioned above? What about Kelly? One solution doesn't solve ALL the problems..

It is a good start, let us hear from you, I need my money

This is what these forums are for to help other members. I don't know if what everyone is stating is true but apparently a lot of these experiences are true. With the reply I observed from Georgia Precision I would not purchase any item from them now or in the future.

gamboman,

The only thing I see that works with GPSS is to post negative feedback in the AR15.com feedback forum. Please give as much detail as possible and then IM Brasspile and Boom ,moderators, and ask them to tack it to the top. My guess is that's the only way to get resolution in a timely manner. Tommy has closed GPSS and may intend to file Bankruptcy so you need to watch that angle as well.

Good Luck! The rest of us AR shooters will support you.

Just thought I would give ya'll an update.I did receive my scope back from tommy still in same box I sent it in and the ffl was laying on top just like it was when I sent it.Doesn't look like it had even been opened. It took a month of emails and phone calls to get it but I finally got it back last friday.I sent it to him sept.04 Now I have to get my $1600 back. This could get interesting,I saw where someone posted on ar15.com that he was closing his business. It's also a bunch bullcrap to have to go thru something like this trying to purchase a firearm or anything else for that matter. This has been the worst nightmare I've ever been thru trying to purchase something and hopefully it is about over.At least I did get my scope back,I really never thought I would see it again without having to go to georgia to get it.I'm calling dtech in a couple of weeks and ordering a rifle from him.I bet I don't have to go thru any crap with him.I talked to him on the phone already and he sounds like a stand-up guy that you can trust with your hard earned money. He will be getting my business for sure. I'll keep everyone informed on getting my money back. Kelly

How did you pay for the rifle. If CC have you contacted them. United States Postal M/O then go to the post office and have him arrested for mail fraud. And the Post Master General will take care of it for you.

Heres a link to a post over at AR15.com Post there about you money and dealings. Ask Brass to Tag it to the top till he pays you. It might not get your money but will keep in name out there so he can't screw anyone else. Keep the bitching going. He may not reply to you post here but we all know he is watching this post.

Tommy be a man and pay this people. You are showing off all the pics of the people coming to hunts at 250.00 a pop on AR15.com. If I was in there shoes I can be sure I would contact the Local Sherrif and have you arrested. I do know for a fact there is a Law in GA. "Theft By Taken" it covers alot of stuff that most people in others states could only collect in small claims court. If you don't belive me ask the Sherrif.

UPDATE..... At this time my issue is being resolved. Thanks to help from Brass. If this changes I'll be the first to let ya'll know.
