MTG,I both understand & respect what you are saying. But, you say the voting public is being convinced to vote for more & more gun control. You use Chicago as an example of people who have voted their rights away because of "Anti's propaganda". I don't think backing down or whispering in the dark is an effective answer to aggressive opposition. For one thing, I think most people who vote for gun control are not voting against hunters, but instead are voting against crime. Yes, I know that in the end if there is enough gun control hunters will lose their guns the same as the criminal. Maybe we need to be just as vocal as the anti's are & educate the voting public with the facts and figures to seperate ourselves from the criminals. That may start to get easier to do as more & more people are attacked by animals who are making their presence known & felt. When scratches, bites & even deaths happen, who does the public call on? Hunters & trappers!!! They don't seem to care how these animals are killed, they just want them gone as fast as possible, and by whatever means necessary!!The public is beginning to remember why people hunt & own guns. If jokes & photos were all it took to hurt anything there wouldn't be a lawyer, a blond, or a politician in the country! If we fight back hard enough, maybe the folks in Chicago will vote to regain their rights. I hope so.-----Ben Jimmy
