How about a WW4? (in SW wyoming)

OK so since nobody wants to commit to one or the other, I'm gonna have to vote for the 4th. (Sorry Randy) The way things are shaping up, that's gonna work the best for me.

What say Ye?

Hey Tony, I don't think that dog ducked your shot, he was just wearing a Kevlar vest. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif

I'm going up to that neck of the woods on the 11th with some buddies that have never been before and wanted to give it a try. I've committed to take them and will do so unless they all end up crapping out on me. I think it will probably end up being me and three other guys, when it comes time to $&!# or get off the pot here shortly. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

So, I'm heading up around there on the 11th regardless. I don't want to crash the party with a bunch of guys. If it's just a few guys, maybe you all wouldn't mind me bringing along a few noobs. If by some freak of nature I get more of my buddies going than I think I will, I'll take the rabble off in a different direction.

The third would be fine with me as well. Normally I wouldn't consider my chances of getting two "kitchen passes," in two consecutive weekends for excursions to Wyoming, very good at all. But Ms. Scattergunner has been very amiable lately, what with me lately landing a higher paying position. Funny how a few more Sacajaweas can greatly improve a gals attitude about such things. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Gary and I are in for the 4th. Be there on the 3 in the after noon. Looking forward to haveing a good time with you guys. GENE'O

Was through that area this weekend and had no problems with getting around at all. Last two days were nice and sunny. Everything was drying up quickly and ran into only a few muddy areas.

Nice pic, Rooster. Thanks for the report. We're getting a little precip this evening. Hopefully it, and everything else between now and the middle of June, blows over. And not in an easterly direction.

I came within a nat's wisker of going down this last weekend myself, but domestic duties kept me grounded.

The War Dept. (SWMBO) is also hooked on shooting P-Dogs and does not want to be left behind. So I gotta wait for a weekend when she is able to go as well.

I'll be lookin' forward to report from y'all on how many you left behind. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Went up yesterday. The pups are not out yet except for a few of them. Terrain is dry and easy to drive on. Very fun day. I wish you guys could have been there.

Toprow, I went up this weekend also. Except I was near Laramie. 70 deg., clear skys, stiff breeze, and dry 2-tracks. Baby PD's everywhere. It was like shooting at chipmonks at 150 yds. With about 6" grass, to boot. Quite a challenge. Especially in the wind, lol.

So far it looks like the 4th of June will be the best day for most who have posted here. So I guess it's time for a roll call. I'm in. Who else? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I'm all set for the 4th and will be there on the 3rd. We will be staying at the KOA in Lyman. Are we going to meet for breakfast Saturday morning or what does everybody have in mind?

We need a check-in place. People could be showing up at all times of the day. Either pick a CB channel or hang a clipboard on a fencepost, but we need some way to be able to find each other. We don't need to cluster up to shoot, but we should have a check-in to know who's there and where. There's plenty of room out there for those who like solitude, but we can bunch-up for bbq and beer at days end, right? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Me and Crapshoot will be there for the 4th. We'll be getting there on the 3rd and will be shooting on Sunday too. Whoever's going to be there on that Friday give a holler so we can get together for beers and BS. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Question guys? Hows the Mosquitoes and Ticks over there this time of the year. The wife and I went out yesterday looking for rock chucks and the mosquitoes were really bad. I guess we should bring some of that and sun block. Also I'm bringing a weber BBQ and a 20'x20'Tarp to get out of the sun. GENE'O
