How about some reloading Bench Photos

You can also use the flourescent bulbs that you can get that will fit in those. Eliminates the heat and exposed elements if something happens to the bulb! Of course, it helps to read the ENTIRE thread before replying, and when I did, I saw that Mr. Nguyen covered that.

I'm going to get a shot of my reloading benches which will absolutely blow everything previously posted away!

I've lived in this house longer than I care to mention. Been meaning to utilize those benches properly. The wife says that come the end of deer season, we'll be cleaning that area up. Hope so. I'd like to get that all set up so I can start loading my own .223 and .45-70. And perhaps some 10mm. The rest of the stuff I can get as cheap as reloading and as accurate.

Keep everything put up and get out what I'm loading so I can keep things straight at my age. You guys got some nice set ups.

Like going after the long beards, don't ya!

how long is the one just to the right of the powder measurer? Very nice! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Yep, I like to call a turkey every now and then. That one is about 11 3/4".

Sorry about the double post guys, I don't know what happened on that one.

Realtree,

I seem to be better at calling turkey than predators so far. I have killed a bunch of gray foxes at night over the years but have not called very many coyotes in yet. Before all of you KY boys say it, I use to hunt over in Indiana where night hunting is legal. I'm still trying to learn this day time calling.

Most guys go for the reloading bench. However, I decided to take a different approach

the other side

Since I don't have any benches built in my garage yet, and I've been without my reloading setup for a year and a half, I decided I needed something that could pull double duty. A reloading table, and a utility table. I had an old set of cabinets that really didn't survive the move too well, so I took them apart and incorporated them into the table. The table top is one layer of 3/4 OSB, and then two more layers of 3/4 shop plywood. I ran left over oak hardwood that I had left over from my living room around the edges. I painted it, and then applied 4 layers of verathane on the table surface. One of the cool features of the table is it's portability

with the wheels under the table, it pushes around quite easily.

the wheel plates are on hinges that have removable hinge pins, in case I want to remove them easily.

The one unpainted shelf on the front side slides out and the shelfs on the back side are mounted on adjustable pins, so I can raise or lower the shelfs as needed.

I will mount my presses and such to pieces of plywood, and then just clamp them to the table top. I think this will work quite well. The only down side is, it is quite heavy already - and I don't have all my crap in it yet.
