How many of you hunt Coyotes alone?

I have a few hunting buddies but none of them seem to want to hunt yotes. How many of you hunt alone? Do you prefer to hunt alone or does it just work out that way? I would think that if you have more rifles in the field, the better the chances are of getting a kill. Or, iz it the other way around? The more hunters, the more they spook? I hunt yotes alone and was just wondering what yall do. I have one buddy that swears he wants to go but he has ashotgun. I told that thats great. He can post up by the call and I will look for the longer shots. Not in his direction of course. So anyhow, to hunt alone or with a partner? Thats my question.

I do a little of both but mainly hunt alone. For some reason or another my partners dont seem to want to go as much as me. I would say my kills are about the same either way. I do also think that two people means more movement and a better chance of spooking away your intended target.

I usually hunt alone but have a local hunting buddy that I go with often enough. I did take another guy out once and he could not sit still and was moving all over the place, last time we went together. My schedule if far from normal so many people are not off the same time as me so it is easier to just go than track down someone. Also hunting alone makes it easier when I miss an easy shot.

I think decoys and callers help the lone hunter also.

Alone most of the time because that is the way the land owners want it. My son can go with me but he doesn't have as may days off as I do.

Alone. No one around here is interested, and when they do go they expect to see something on every stand. When you go a couple days with no success its hard to talkem into goin again

50/50. I have one buddy who uses a rifle and I use the shotgun and do the calling....but today I took my lil brother in law out and he had a blast so I think I have a new hunt'n buddy!

I love to go by myself but I have no confidence in my solo survival. I am always worried about couger/bear and have blown stands because I cant stop checking over my shoulder or hear a twig snap behind me and freak out. I get way more action by myself.

Partners stink, its nice to have someone watch your back for cats but peoples breathe stinks, or they are fat and sweaty or slam your car door or make snowballs while your calling. Twice the noise, motion, scent...

When hunting coyotes I hunt alone most of the time. Bird hunting and big game I usually hunt with other people. Having two guys does put twice as many guns out there, but depending who you are with can more than double your chances of f*#king things up. To be honest, I only have one hunting buddy that I know I can fully trust. I like hunting with the other guys, but alot times feel their actions or lack of hunting instinct causes alot of missed opportunities.

I have one guy that goes goose hunting with us almost every weekend, but I swear that guy could fit 6 dozen decoys in a 30 foot circle...he'd stuff 3 handfulls of straw in his blind and say he's ready to hunt. Then when the birds finally came he'd be standing up smoking a cig and he wouldn't hunker down until they are about 400 yards away, then ask why they flared off.

I'm pretty particular when hunting and have the opinion that paying close attention to the fine details of things is what makes the difference between doing OK and doing well. Sometimes I think maybe I'm too uptight and need to loosen up a bit, but it seems like whenever you get alittle lazy or sloppy the wildlife always makes me look like a fool.

I started out hunting mostly alone and then I got some of my buddies hooked. Now I always have somebody that wants to tag along. I am finding out though that I might prefer to hunt alone.

My spots are turning into their spots and I'm not a real big fan of that. Plus nobody ever tell me " hey lets go calling, I have a good spot." It's always hey lets go calling in your spots. Tomorrow will be a group outing and after that I'm gonna start hitting it hard solo.

i hunt mostley with a partner (my nephew) and he is always on the look out for new stands and new areas when he is out hawking with his grandpa!!! and i have him trained to hunt my way when we are out which makes it nice

I mostly hunt alone.I think I am the only local coyote hunter in my county.I have a friend I sometimes hunt with in the next town.

I do about 75% of my hunting alone. Seems like I'm more successful by myself. Went night hunting a couple days ago with a friend, called in a picture perfect double that he missed at 35yds. I don't care, it was fun, but had I been alone there would have been a dead pair.

99% alone. Got a couple friends i hunt with, but my job gives me lots of weekdays off, but still work sat. Great to be in the woods when its quiet, but everyone else works. Then theirs me.....the polite ones say I'm eccentric.

99% alone but a couple times a year I hunt with a few other guy's.

I like hunting with my partners, but I do like my time alone in the woods.
