If I call a coyote, and I pray I never do, those 4 armed dudes are responsible for me not getting attacked!

If there is any doubt those four men can't get the coyote stopped before it gets to me, at my command the 5th guy with the good lungs will start blowing a starters whistle for as loud and as long as he can.

Hopefully that will be enough to slow down the coyote until I have enough time to jump in the truck and lock the doors!! Those other 5 guys on on their own. May God bless their souls.

Coyotes and obama scare me to death!

I concur!!

I can't find anyone with the patience or desire to walk for miles a day sit still enough for twenty minutes or so at a time or someone who won't complain about not seeing anything. THey think I'm weird for sitting out there just watching and enjoying mother nature. So its alone for me. Every now and them ill take my kid but she doesn't pit still and can't handle more than one or two stands but its quality time spent with her so I'm good with that

Well i started out hunting alone but then i got my girlfriend into the sport..along with a younger female hunter who is getting her real licence this year (paid for by me) since i got her into the sport and she isnt a bad caller/shooter.. i guess im doing my part in the future of the hunting sport... COYOTE HUNTING IS A GREAT WAY TO STAY OUTT-A TROUBLE....

I mostly hunt alone, if I could find someone who wouldn't whine or that would show up when they said they would I might ask others to go with me more often. Alone is fine.

mostly by myself but I do like hunting with others. Usually once a week a buddy from out of town comes and hunts with me for the day..

I hunt alone quite a bit but there is nothing like the comradery of having a hunting partner. The more eyes scanning your calling tertiary the better. One bad thing about having a partner is that there is more of a chance of being spotted by coyotes.

My calling buddies live in different states. So I hunt alone most of the time. My neighbor tagged along with me once and the first set we did, I howled in a big male Coyote and it was one of the coolest calling sequences I've ever been a part of. Anyway, we went out a couple of times after that, skunked the first, then called in a Gray Fox the second trip but he was really disappointed that we didn't "get anything". He doesn't understand that most of the fun is just going out and doing sets. I like to get out and check out new area, and maybe get a couple good stands in if I'm lucky. It's called hunting, not killing. Some people don't understand that principle.

Like most have said I hunt alone. When I really got serious about coyotes and bobcats.I. wanted partners. Nobody wanted to do the work, learn or join PM for help. Now that I've put a little fur on the ground, lots of my buddies want to go with me. I started taking two different friends and neither worked out. They still want to go, to MY spots. I've hustled up a fair piece of private spots but two of them the owners rule is just me. My buddies don't have any private or public land to hunt and are to lazy to get any.
It would be nice to have a night hunter partner to help eye ball and pack, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. I enjoy my "alone" time. I can stay as long or as short as I like.

I believe hunting with a good partner is best. Period. Misterfuzzer and I usually don't see the other shoot and that says a lot. 2 people can cover much more ground and can cover the spots that one could not. I would guess that we see 2 out of 5 coyotes that the other guy shoots. Plus, for me, it's fun to share the experiences with someone. Lots of laughs and good times!

Im a little surprised by the responses here. Seems most of us are out there alone.

I am too usually. Ive brought a few different people out with me- but I enjoy being by myself, kinda also feel that is one less body making noise, or small movements, ect.

95% of the time it is with my 27 year old kid, he has 3 day weekends so our wives don't miss us on Fridays. I have winters off cause the concrete business that is slow in the cold weather.

90% of the time I'm with my brother in law. the other 10% I'm with another buddy or 2 that I don't go out with that often. I rarely hunt alone and I have pretty good success.

I hunt mostly at night so movement is not an issue and we always have a good time.
