Where did you get your 8Rd Slips at???? Thanks, Jeff
Jeff, Here are a couple pics of my "slips". The first round I made of them were 8rnd slips, but they were only stiff when I had shells in them, so version 2.0 has 7rnds, and a stiffening spine sewn into the nylon body.
They fit nicely into triple magazine shingles:
On v2.0, I also added paracord pulls (1strand 4 braid) at the top, and left a spot for a paracord "tether" in the bottom so I can anchor them through the bottom grommet of mag pouches. Here's a pic of one of them on my current coyote rig. It rides in a double mag pouch, the paracord tether means I can drop it and it won't fall away. You can see the cord coming out of the bottom of the slip (top in the photo),feeding into the mouth of the pouch behind the velcro, and the anchor loop sticking out of the drain grommet at the bottom of the pouch.
Pretty handy, doesn't take me long to make them, and suits my needs really well.
