Whitetail maybe I can give yu some help. Last year I stretched and dried everything I caught for the first time ever. The year before a certain Texas Fur buyer whom I will not name lied to me and told me the fur market had crashed. I had around 150 grey fox thawed out, and over 100 coons along with 8 or 10 cats. I had sold to this individual for several years. HE said that this was his last trip through to buy and that no one else was even going to bother comin g out either. To make a long story short, I sold the fox for 3.00, the coons for 2.00 and the cats for 20.00. Last year I shipped to nafa. They are not perfect but I sold cats for up to 450.00, my greys averaged 17.50, and coons averaged over 18.00 and coyotes averaged 12.50. These local buyers are doubling their money at least. Putting up fox, cats and yotes is not a big deal. Coons will take a little work, but after you have done a few you can do them in 10 minutes or so. Get you some wood stretchers and go to work.
