Any one out there use a sled to get to there stands??
Most of the sign ive seen has only been accesible by sled.
The problem that i have with using the sled is (1) the noise getting to my spots. and second the smell.. 2 cycles smoke like the devil and are really smelly. i usually can smell the smike on my clothes when i get home!!
I have strongly considered buying a 4 stroke sled for that very reason.
i typically watch the wind.. now the other thing im wondering is it the smell of the sleds or human smell that will turn a coyote off.
there is sooo much snowmobile activity in the area that im wondering if it is something that they are just used to smelling it.
i use a scent lock suit, but am wondering if its even worth it if i get the sled smell all over me???
is there anyone out there who can give some advise or experineces similar problems??
without a sled most of my stands would be inaccesible!!
