Hunting tattoos?

One of our girlfriends told me that there was something "hot" about me NOT having any tats or piercings. I was the only person in the group of twelve or so, that didn't have either.

They are pretty common place these days, but I've never seen so many, since we moved to NM. The highschool that my kids go to is full of them.

Kinda like Harleys. They still pump the "rebel" image, even though everyone and their dog has one.

There's a tatt that you wouldn't regret.

Hey,,,, I Resemble that Remark...Just the other week my doctor's nurse told me I looked pretty good, for my age and shape... Old & Young are very relative...

Seriously, I have one for a MC club that I've belonged to for 25 years, high on my upper arm...visible when I ride sleeveless, but at no other time...

Whey you are applying for a job, just remember that the company is hiring your to represent their image and taking the attitude of "If they don't want me, I don't want to be there" is like cutting the nose off your face...The only one it hurts in the long run is yourself...There are still plenty of candidates that meet their needs, and always will be, unless you fit a really unique niche..

Think about your potential future shape regarding skin tone and elasticity as the tattoo will likely expand or shrivel...depending on it's location and your physical condition...No one wants to see a 'fat Hula girl' normally...or a shriveled up heart...or what ever...

I've got 7 "tat's" They all have a special meaning to me.
I got them all when I was in the Marines. By far the one that meens the most, is one that 28 of us got one night, and then had the pattern destroyed.
None of mine are hunting related. Duane

Lol..

I have had several over the years and for the most part: every one of them have a meaning to me. I am 40 now and still do not regret a one. My favorite just happens to be that coyote one as it has always been a very big part of my life. I actually did'nt mind the 8 hours in the chair.
I will say this though: i have alot of tattoos but with just a simple t-shirt; nobody ever knows it. I've worked next to people for alot of years and they never knew unless i had to show off. point being this: though my back and side and shoulders have a lot of ink; it's never seen by anyone that i don't want to see them. I did it that way knowing very well how tattos can appear to the general public. Actually i really don't like to see ink myself in a public or in a work enviorment. Sounds weird i'm sure, but i do agree it's not very professional looking.

They make you look like trash. All there is to it...And yep, I got one. Like a dam fool, I got one. They don't look a bit less silly than one of those freak shows you see walking around with a big hoop, streatchin their ears out to the point you can throw a baseball through it.

I have 7 tattoos, all paid for by the taxpayers, they are simple dots that were the targets for radiation rays to kill cancer cells caused by Agent Orange. Those 7 tats cost about $20,000. I doubt if anyone would call them art. but I doubt if any of the "art" tattoos cost as much.

ARDAVE, You are a pretty tough guy on the puter aren't you???
You have no trouble stirring $hit, and trying to make your self out to be "wonderful". I for one would love to see your attitude in person.
Simple common lesson that most learned as kids," If you don't have anything nice to say ,don't say anything".
As for "tat's being trashy" thats your opinion", I'll take it for what its worth.
Do you have any real "knowledge" to share with the board, or are you just here to be a "PIA"?
Just curious? Duane

I would like some ink work done in the future and have really thought about getting something that has to do with hunting. Predator Hunting specifically. I'm just not sure what to get.

... and then some man!

Well Duane, I haven't really thought about it like that. As far as I could tell, it was a discussion about getting tattoos. Well, go get one. See if I care. Was it the hulla hoop earing comment that pisssed ya off? you got a couple of those? Guess what...I couldn't care less if you do. Do what ever you want to do. I just stated a fact to hopefully give someone some insite from a grown azz man that has done it and regreted it. I don't claim to be wonderful, or a tuff guy on the computer. I can see you are the bad azz around here. Keep typin, you scared the h3ll out of me.

I dont mind at all people discussing things on this topic, but lets not turn this in to a thread like its starting to become. Everyone here knows exactlly what im talking about.

Thanks, Zack
