Hunting tattoos?

I've got a 6X6 white tail european mount on my right inside forearm and a jackrabbit on my left inside forearm. Gettin' lettering down the outside of the left next then a few fillers like a coyote skull and an AZ flag somewhere in there. I'll have all the spaces between the peices filled with a camo type pattern then it's time to finnish the right arm.

You only get one chance to make a first impression and if you're going to represent my company that first impression will be one of a clean, neat and responsible person. The majority of my customers are middle aged and older folks who usually ridicule the younger set that chose to ink themselves. I could'nt care less if you choose to paint a dong across your forehead but you certainly won't be the one to represent my company and I suspect most other company owners feel the same. It's your body so do as you wish but don't be upset if you don't get hired.

As long as you don't get them on your face or neck, tattoos are easily covered with a long sleeve shirt. Unless one works in a place that doesn't allow long sleeve shirts it's a situation with a simple solution.

I've designed a bunch of tat's and my artwork is on skin all over the country, but there is no way I'd ever get one myself. While I appreciate the artistic nature of tatoos I have no desire to have one.

I got an eagle on my right shoulder when I turned 18. That was over 20 years ago and still, I don't regret getting one. My wife has a flower on the top of her foot with the stem spiraling around the toe. She is tougher than me. We both got one in a place that could be covered up.

Zack, just be sure to get what you want and put it where it can be covered up. Don't rush into it.

Pretty much sums it up from a business owner's point of view.
I personally don't mind tat's that much but some of my clients might.
Facial piercings are worse then tat's for employement.

My clients will tolerate quite a bit but not that.
They never know what to expect when I show up.
Could have a beard and pony tail or could be clean shaven and just had my yearly haircut.
But they are pretty much used to me being a little bit different.

yup, down by the toes. The tattoo guy warned her about the pain, he said it is one of the most painful places. Her response, "can't be worst than child birth".

Yep, She's tough

Well im not worried about the whole getting a job and tattoo thing. I dont know a hole lot of people who ask to look at your back before hireing you. I wouldnt ever get a tattoo I couldnt cover up. I have one now that is covered when I wear most short sleeve shirts.

Awesome!!! It doesn't get much funnier than that!

I'd get a tattoo if I had the guts, but...I guess I don't.

If you've got tattoos - great! If you don't have any - great!

I always advise people. Nothing below the shoulder and nothing above the collar. I'm a open minded guy. I have ink, I've had piercings, but when I see a young punk with ink on his face, "I think dumb@$$" When I see and old biker type with ink on his neck I wonder where he works and how well does it pay and are they hiring.................
A local shop back in the day would not do any ink below the watch band, to keep people from doing something that they would regret later.
If you want one go for it!!

Just make it count!!
My wife and I both have ink and people wonder what we will tell our daughter when she grows up?
Same thing.
Only get something that holds STRONG meaning
Only put it someplace that you could hide it.

Tear drop means prison time if I'm not mistaken. If I was going to get one I would have done it when I was in the 82nd AIRBORNE.But I didn't.That was about 35 years ago..........

Back in the '50s, the Tear Drop used to signify the number of killings that the person had performed... I think it still does among members of the Mexican Mafia...

There used to be a Mexican gang called the Pachukos that wore a cross on the web between the thumb and index finger and each "sun burst" line around the cross was also an indication of a murder..

WOW talk about a lot of closed minded people around here!!! I like how you state that it's a "FACT"! Dam near spit my soda on the computer! Please don't speak your mind again, if you don't like them then don't look at them and keep your mouth shut and go on your way! [beeep] here is my mind for you! You live in AK so.... well never mind I will keep to my self.

To all those of you that regret your tats! Sorry but that means you got the wrong one, and you didn't think it before you inked it!

If you don't brand yourself with some fad that is going on at the time and think your tat through you will not regret it. Make it mean something or stand for something. Don't get a girlfriend's/boyfriend's or husband's/wife's name on you!

How you supposed to know how you are going to feel about something at 43 when yer only 23 at the time?

You cant.

People and things change with age.

Fact.

Perfect example....I used to want to go to california
