midway is great!!! thank you veryone i am no longer a part of this community! no support here im moving on with my head held high! see ya! now you can start picking on bob again!

I've bought stuff over the Internet through Midway since about 1999 and for quite a few years prior to that by snail-mail, and I've have never had one problem. They're not always the cheapest, but at times they have items others don't.

I also deal with a few of their direct competitors and they are far from being the only "bad guy". No problems here.

Feel fortunate you don't have to wear glasses, skeetlee.... A lot of other people aren't as fortunate as you.

well theres quite a few other venders out there. I deal with a bunch of them when looking for supplies. Usually Natchez is decent, same with Midsouth.

Midway is'nt the cheapest, though there probably the largest. I've had a couple DPMS complete uppers on backorder 6-7 weeks now. Coleman Tyler did'nt have them in stock either.

It seems alot of the packages from Midway get pretty beat up compared from other places but, thats probably UPS.

I doubt Larry Potterfield runs the show. I'm sure the place is big enough to have a chain of command with several managers in place.
 
well go to the bathroom and get yourself a towel to dry your eyes up. this doesnt have any thing to do with you! go cry somewhere else derbyacresbob. i have placed seven diffent orders with midway and only one time did they get it right. dont you think you would be a little upset! why in the hell would you take that as a personal atack. you have issues man!
 
I don't do a lot of business with Midway, but I've always had good service even when I needed to return an item.

If they say it might take 14 days for your order, why are you complaining after 7? Just run down to the nearest sporting goods store if you have to have something NOW.

Having personally shaken his hand, I can say that Bob is a gentleman of the highest regard.
You sir, on the other hand, are just begging to get pounced on by posting what you did. Venting is one thing, but..................................c'mon.

Placed several orders with Midway...They have all been perfect and very timely shipped...I never hesitate to order from Midway.
 
I've never had order problems w/ Midway. At times their website is extremely s-l-o-w. Once I called their attention to it and the response was I should start calling in my orders. I still shop at Midway but probably spend twice as much with Midsouth now.
 
I have had an order come to my house probably once a week for about three months or so. I have not had one problem with them at all. They offer every product I have had a use for, even some that others don't offer. They may not always have it on hand but they will get it to you as soon as possible.

There has to be something else wrong here.

I have been buying from Midway since '91, and never had a problem.

I'll be the first one to say problems CAN happen to any of these dealers.

But I'm a hellova long way further from them than you, and I get all my UPS ground stuff in 3 days - 4 at the worst.

But here's the rub... when anyone makes an order, they get an e-mail conformation in a few hours. In that conformation, there is a UPS tracking number.

You don't have to do anything but click on that number, and up pops the UPS tracking screen... and it tells you where your package is... even if it's only half way.

So do that, and get back to us and tell us where the package you are waiting for is.

Then we'll all beetch with you.

I think your issues are with UPS.

WOW,,,,,,,, That's pretty harsh.

I'd bet you any amount that there are far more folks that have had good experiences than bad when dealing with Midway.

Did you try stamping your feet when you talked to them??

Never had trouble with Midway. In fact, I've always had perfect service from them. I think Larry Potterfield has done a tremendous amount of work for our hunting, shooting, and Second Amendment rights. The cheap personal shot at him and derbyacresbob is unwarranted and very revealing about the posters character.
 
Whoa, Skeet. Don't bite the hand that feeds ya. I understand sometimes we all get riled up about things and want to share our displeasure. Thats all fine and dandy. But we can't come in here to complain and then snap at the very people we are wanting sympathy from.
