Iran launched an attack on Turkey. More FAFO right there
They've attacked everyone in the region, including neutral & friendlies. And those countries aren't asking us to back off, they're asking us to provide targeting coordinates in Iran

China yesterday openly told them to not do anything to impede oil shipments in the region. Not that they can close the straight now, unless they have some way to swim out on camels & do something
We also announced that oil tankers will have US Navy escorts through the straight to make sure no one messes with them
