Iranian Uprising

this is turning into a can of worms;

I don't know this guy, as if it matters, but I have not heard anything from our illustrious war leaders that even remotely touch on the facts he has laid out. Islamists have said for hundreds of years that world domination is their ultimate goal and have indoctrinated multiple generations that sacrificing one's life for the cause is the highest honor of martyrdom. Russia left Afghanistan with their tails tucked after after nine years and resources lost there contributed greatly to the collapse of Russia. The USA thought we could do better than Russia so we more than doubled the time and resources in the attempt to shut down the Taliban and under Biden withdrew, leaving billions in resources and an untold number of personnel behind. So, has anything been learned? Does the free world need to come up with a different plan? Is America involved in something that, using current strategy, will achieve the hoped for result?

Israel's defense minister Katz says Iran's intelligence minister Esmaeil Khatib has been neutralized in a strike in Tehran.

Katz says strikes on Iran are intensifying, with major surprises expected across all fronts.

We shouldn't have underestimated their desire and ability for unsymmetric warfare. It's not like it was a secret.
We knew months ago.

Our leaders failed to consider all angles of this. They acted hastily and now we're in a crap-storm we will have a very hard time getting out of.
Does Ron Paul have it right?

Israel’s defenses are starting to show strain—each new Iranian strike is getting at least some through, and the use of cluster munitions marks a clear escalation. Israel is now launching a ground offensive into Lebanon, widening the fight beyond a single front. Despite repeated calls for the Iranian population to rise up, the regime still appears firmly in control, continuing to shoot protests while maintaining its security grip. Efforts to target police stations and checkpoints haven’t shifted the balance; there are simply too many, and security forces continue to mow down demonstrations. Even if victory were declared and forces pulled out today, there’s little indication Iran is in a position—or has the intent—to be done.

wait until things start happening right here on U.S. soil

if bombings don't start happening here i'll be surprised

if they dont start happening here then we have been lied to as to who and what got across our borders under Biden.

That first week is already starting to feel like 2003—when George W. Bush stood on a carrier declaring “mission accomplished.” Now here we are, days from the 23rd anniversary of Operation Iraqi Freedom… and it’s sounding familiar all over again.
