One of my absolute requirements for rifles regardless of brand is ACCURACY.

I've owned 6-8 various model Tikka's over the years and a couple of Kimbers. When it came to accuracy it wasn't close. Bone stock out of the box Tikka's were on average much more accurate and a lot less fussy with various loads.

Years back when I was on a Kimber kick I looked at several Montana's and Classic Select models at 4 different gun shops. There was a LOT of fit & finish issues and other quality issues noted with NEW in the box Kimbers. IMO with the quality issues I saw the rifles should have never made it out of the factory. I sold the 2 Kimbers I owned years ago and haven't regretted it once.
