I bought an 8400 in .325 WSM last year. I heard all the stories about poor QC, yada, yada. I also heard the 325 is a crappy round. This is the first magnum rifle I've owned that shot sub-MOA right out of the box. Shot a black bear with it last spring and he was DRT with one shot. I took it to Alaska this year and shot a mountain goat, also a one shot kill and goats are known for taking lead and staying on their feet. I also shot a Sitka black tail deer with it and another one shot kill. I loaded 100 rounds for it and at this rate, I probably have a lifetime supply of ammo. Was I lucky and got a good rifle? Perhaps. But I don't think so. I'd buy another Kimber in a minute.
