Kimber Rifles

I have an 84m in .204. most accurate gun i own.
Thats saying alot. I have not experienced any QC issues
so i can't tell you about thier service. But the rifle is
beautifully made and shoots great.Just a Kimber owners
opinion.

+1 I agree
Most accurate rifle I own.
No problems at all.
Beautiful well made rifle.

This is kinda like the Ruger thing. If you have one and it shoots-functions-kills like you want by all means enjoy it. Being happy with a product is the main thing and by all means Kimber is capable of building a good product as anyone else.

I don't own any and have shot many. Have seen lots of problems over the years but none that could not be fixed. They ran the gamit from handguns, rimfires, and long guns. I just can't justify spending that kind of money on one to put in the field. They are very nice looking firearms. There are just better products out there for me to fit my needs.
Sounds like they are doing a much better job from the sound of comments made here tonight.

I bought an 8400 in .325 WSM last year. I heard all the stories about poor QC, yada, yada. I also heard the 325 is a crappy round. This is the first magnum rifle I've owned that shot sub-MOA right out of the box. Shot a black bear with it last spring and he was DRT with one shot. I took it to Alaska this year and shot a mountain goat, also a one shot kill and goats are known for taking lead and staying on their feet. I also shot a Sitka black tail deer with it and another one shot kill. I loaded 100 rounds for it and at this rate, I probably have a lifetime supply of ammo. Was I lucky and got a good rifle? Perhaps. But I don't think so. I'd buy another Kimber in a minute.

I had one in 204 and had alot of ejection issues I I didnt keep it spotless clean the ejector arm would hang up and not throw the brass clear. Other than that its was a fine rifle.

I have a real issue with my 84m in .204.
I hunt yotes in the winter and the
gun is just too pretty to paint up like a Holstein.
what should i do.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
