The whole 30-3XX is a lost idea for me. Kinda like the CRX with the fart in a bath tub muffler, a whole lotta noise and very little effect. Not much you can't kill on this continent with a standard 30-06 or less caliber if you know how to shower and sit still. I guess if you sneak up on paper targets all the time, then it might pass, just not my cup of tea. Seems like a lot of time and money to re-invent the wheel to me.
 
The word should suprise no one at this point. Folks have Sig line links with cartoons using the same language. Why act suprised upon reading it? If the words offend, it all needs to be taken out. Mods need to click the links on these sig lines and clean it all up. I see nothing different in this case. If its all about protecting the young readers, It all has to go. It aint the prettiest of rifles, But I like my Savage.. and thats close.

X2 I wish I were as cool and knew as much as some of these know it alls are. It amazes me how pompus people can become. The fact that a guy can become a keyboard cowboy and then think he can talk down to folks. Not just every now and then but every single day in every forum they can. The mods should pay more attention to that and the youtube links posted in the signature lines.

I can tell some of you keyboard cowboys this...the opinions you have of yourself are not even near what people really think of you.

In regards to your first response to this thread, why would you say anything if it wasn't something positive or worth saying? Your first response was intended to cause conflict and it did. I'm not saying the OP is correct in his response but you guys always try to trash peoples threads and act like know it alls. In regards to your response above....it speaks for itself and your intelligence level.

My first response was based off MY opinion. If you think it was to cause trouble on the forums then your intelligence is lacking... I recall a few more people basically saying the same response to the rifle.

A young reader sees/hears way worst in a day in school then they'll pick up on this forum.
 
Guys, I have tried to edit out any direct references to the profanity, but would ask that in the event something of similar nature should pop up, Please Do Not, re-post it as a quote.. That serves no legitimate purpose... If found, please notify a moderator so it can be dealt with properly...

I am going to be looking at Signature Lines as well. so if there is anything there, in yours, please remove it yourself..

If a five year old should not be exposed to it,,, It doesn't belong here...
 
That's the nice thing about opinions, different people, with different points of view,draw different conclusions of stuff based on their experiences. I, for one, like reading differing view points on rifles....makes for pretty mundane discussions otherwise.
 
Well I guess I'm a follower of 2muchgun and Superseal for thinking it was ugly. Sorry maybe it's just us Michigan people.

It looked to me like you posted the rifle to hear peoples opinions. You got them, so no need to get fussy because most of the opinions were negative.

I wonder if the gun is painted in some metallic primer so it can be painted into one of those colorful bench guns. I doubt anyone would leave it silver like it is. Seems there is allot of internet tuff guys on here (as does any forum). Just got to have thick skin people, good thing about the internet you can say whateva u want.
