Because it wasn't his rifle and this thread was going to be based on peoples opinions about the rifle that's for sale. On a daily basis, we see that with firearms, optics, reloading equipment, calling techniques, ect. People want to know what other people think.

If you find something bad in a signature line or post then notify a mod or admin. We cant catch it all.
 
Not much on the color scheme, but that can be changed quite easily-Paint!
It was probably set-up for heavy gun or just a long shooter for steel or varmints-Likely off of a bench.
 
This thread is an absolute joke.

A guy posts a pic of a rifle he doesn't even own. People gave their honest opinions of the rifle, using no profane or out of line terminology whatsoever. Most people did not like it. Guy flips out for no good reason whatsoever.

Now we have the local "do gooders" popping out of the woodwork talking about cartoons, profanity, and signature lines that have absolutely NOTHING to do with this thread whatsoever. I guess they saw a chance to whine and took it.
So now we have people who did absolutley NOTHING wrong being scolded because of a few whiners.

Is this place so PC now that you can't even post a link with a few cuss words in it for the sake of comedy?

Nobody is forcing anyone's hand to hit on a link. Nor can we. As with any internet link, you don't like what you see/hear, it is a click away from being gone.

I agree with what Mike said earlier. Kids see/hear MUCH worse at school, on TV, and in their own homes that what they will find around here.

If one is looking to find profanity or the like, there are alot better choices on the internet/TV than here. This site is about as "wholesome" as they get compared to others, IMO....

Yep, it is definitely the sig. lines that caused Catkiller to flip out for no apparent reason.

I think we should take away all freedom of speech due to his little tirade.

This post is akin to Tipper Gore telling congress that heavy metal was causing kids to kill people.

Maybe every link should just have a warning label next to it.....

A guilty conscience needs no accuser. The fact that Kids are subject to profanity at school has nothing to do with having to hear it at home, that is unless a parent uses/allows that type of language at home. The premise of the rules for posts concerning profanity here in the forums is to make sure that the young readers arent subjected to it while on this website. But I regress, I wont explain what profanity is. Someone's head might explode.

The portion of my thread was removed along with all of the others by the Mods due to the content. My post was concerning what was posted here prior to that. So it did have something to do with the thread. I like the way you now resort to making digs at where people live. Do you want a cookie?
 
I'll tell you what Grant, I'm gonna let this one go, before it does turn truly ugly.

I find the mere thought of someone inferring that we should censor the whole site, because of one man's hissy fit, both ridiculous and appalling.

How do you know that myself or others do not find the idea of someone "hitting their mama in the head with a shovel" (as your sig. line reads) offensive? Where do we draw the line?

The moderating must be working around here, cuz it is definitely keeping me from saying how I truly feel right now.

You can be certain my thoughts, in my owns terms, would definitely offend right now........
