most powerful 7mm

I would look at the 7mm practical it is an awesome round and accurate and it knocks elk down I have a 300 ultra mag and this ting has become my favorite low recoil so I can see where I hit it uses less powder,I think it is the most efficient of the 7mms. and you can make it out of 300win mag brass

I have a 7 mag and am very happy with it shooting the 180 grain Berger bullets. With the release of the Berger 195 grain bullets, I'm looking at the 7/300 Win Mag, 28 Nosler and the 7/300 Norma.

What bullets are you shooting?

Is this a simple neck down from 300WM to 7mm so is there something else that has to be done?

Picked up my 28 Nosler yesterday. It's in a temporary stock until next Monday but I was anxious to get a load worked up as I have a Match next weekend. Braved the rain and wind today as I was anxious to shoot it.
I furnished Horizon two different loads... one with 183gr Sierra and one with the 195gr Berger.
Last night I eased higher on the charge and loaded a few in new brass and once fired brass to check speed variance with both bullets.

Here is the rifle. New stock will be Black/Grey/white Iota stock.

Speeds for 195gr Berger

It was raining and my marker was having issues but this is 9 shots total 6 with 195gr and 3 with 183gr with different powder charge.

Wow, you are getting great speeds with the 195 grain bullets.
I think 3.670" will still fit in my Accurate 3.775 mags. Do you by chance have a round that you could put next to a 300 WM or 7 Rem Mag for comparison?

The rifle stock currently has HS Precision bottom metal and the 3.670 barely fits but the Sierra 183gr I seat at 3.730 won't fit. When the new stock arrives Monday it will have the Wyatt's Box.

I have a 7mm-300wm..A Winchester classic with a 27 inch, 9 twist Bartlein..A max load of Retumbo gets me 3150 with the 180 Bergers..Lots of fun and reaches WAAAAY out there with authority...

It is just that easy..One pass through the die with 300 wm brass..There is a wee bit of fireforming as it does change the shoulder just a bit,but if there is a difference in virgin brass and the once fired the chrono or the target doesn't show it..
