I personally don't own Vortex, I have looked at their stuff when shopping binos and can't say I saw anything wrong or of lackluster quality, but i just had a thought.
Hmmm,..........
Ideally nobody should need to contact customer service for a product issue. However, Vortex's VIP warranty is a big selling point as it covers user error, not just product failure.
Vortex has good products AND good customer service. Many companies do not have both.
Stating they have good customer service, and a good warranty, is a fact. Its not a sign of a higher than average failure rate.
