Travis, Yes you can fly into Hobbs. Gonna come in really, really handy for my hunters this year. I had a guy fly in there, just last weekend. Can't wait to hang out with ya.

12andom, No you don't spray water. It's a high grade 3M vinyl adhesive that works on pressure. Just a big 'ole sticker.

Adam, Just do a google search for Camo4u. There are basically two major players in the truck wrap world. I researched both and chose this one. Let me know if you want some and I'll see if I can get you a deal. Same goes for you Troy.

Will, It's a commercial flatbed, but I don't remember the name of it. It's been on their past 3 trucks and they trade trucks every 2-3 years. It's a little banged up, but just right for a poor boy like me. I'll breath some life into it.

Darn Tony, that rig will be easy to lose in the desert. Maybe need to take a GPS reading before heading out for calling.

Looking good. Did a 14 foot john boat about 6 years ago. Stuff is still on. Had to patch a few spots from wear and tear. But I would use it again.

Did you heat gun it so it's perm or just stick it on so you can get it off if needed?

No need for a heat gun here in NM. I literally burned a diamond plate mark on my knee yesterday, when I accidentally put my knee on the toolbox, while climbing up on the roof.

I figured that but still had to ask. Looking at your truck is making me want to look for that 4X6 sheet I still got laying around. I got an outboard that could use a facelift.

Ya that does look pretty awesome Tony. It is now on my wish list to have a side by side with tracks with snow camo on it to get around in the winter. Sounds like that stuff will stick to anything.

Tony-- looks awesome!!! I have looked into it myself.. one question though.. will it only stick to completely smooth surface or will it stick well to a sub standard finish on the truck?
 
What do you mean by a "sub standard finish"? Do you mean a krylon'd vehicle? If so, yes. I have had plenty of vinyl decals on my spraypaint vehicles.

It took a few hours. Most of it was removing the stainless rocker panels and weather stripping that I wanted off. The stuff they use to glue it was a pain. After I got the truck prepped, it took me about 8-9 hours over 2 days. Would have been faster if I had an extra hand, but I'm a one man shop.
