With the .308 in the picture, I wouldn't consider the pvs14. A PVS14 might not stand the recoil of a .308. Not worth taking the risk on an expensive monocular. You could also mount IR lasers under the barrel of each rifle and wear the PVS14 on a helmet.
The ITT Night Enforcer with the Pinnacle Tube is rated no higher than .223 by ITT. All HTRN PVS-14's regardless of what tube is installed in them are rated up to .308 and we warranty them for 6 years. We have had no recoil warranty claims on our own PVS-14s nor have we had any claims on the ITT NE's that we have sold since we began operations in 2008. Most warranty work seems to be from damaged cases, broken switches, or lenses mostly caused by dropping them on concrete, frozen ground, etc. One person fell down the stairs with his ITT NE with Pinnacle tube and it just bent the switch. No damage to the case or tube inside after going down the stairs and bouncing off the concrete a few times. However, ITT considers recoil a risk and therefore will not warranty them any higher than .223. Go figure ! Kevin
