I ordered the AGM Spectrum LRF and the SHL to record my deer hunts and give the Grandkids something to play with on the back deck.

My local feed store is having rat issues, and they (rodents) no longer will eat the poison nor go near glue traps, etc. I'm leaning towards buying an air rifle and low powdered (base mag) NV or thermal and start having fun...lol

I bought one of these recently and for the money it was well worth it. I wound up putting it on an AR .22. Not really a low base mag at 5x but....
Decent picture resolution and it's been holding zero just fine. Could be just what the doctor ordered for rodent duty.

I paired the Spectrum LRF with the SHL 40 Hyperion and it is a perfect fit for my 338 ARC pistol with a 9" 1:5 twist barrel.

My son and I sighted it in at 50 yds with subsonics (307 gr Sub-x Bullets) and was able to use the LRF ballistics calculator and had no trouble hitting 6" steel targets at 75, 100, 150 & 200 yds. It's not as quiet as the 300 BLKOUT with the 190 gr Sub-X subsonic loads, but it hits with much more authority!

PS: My grandkids prefer using my thermal monocular over DNV...LOL I'm also going to use a Wraith Thermal Mini on the PCP for Rats since it's base mag is 2x.
