Predator Hunting in Portland, OR area?

Well, I missed last weekend for going out due to some projects around the house. But this weekend I had gone out (south of 224) to break in a new shot gun of my buddies. Didn't have any time to hunt, so we planned on just going out and throwing some clays in the morning real quick. On the way back (about half a mile from wear we were shooting) a huge gray coyote ran across the road about 75ft in front of my truck. Another quarter mile down the road is some good open timber. Guess wear I will be going this Saturday morning.

Good to see actual proof that their are dogs out there. I guess I have no more excuses. Should have my homemade e-caller built by then as well (once I finish that, I will be sure to upload some pictures in another post).

Very excited about seeing that yote...can't wait for the weekend!!!
 
Well I will be sure to give some hints were I saw it once I have it in the back of my truck. Read back through this posts threads, and I am sure people will get a good idea were I have been scouting. I started this post asking for help to find areas to hunt, and am glad to help others with the same issue. Most of it has been just driving around and putting my time in.
