I have used the Kliendorst Recoil lug locator for 30 years, forget having all your actions pinned.
Also, nothing wrong with using a case that does not need full length sizing to headspace your bbl when you screw it on...where the rubber meets the road. I hate case stretching on new brass, so I will sit mine up where there is a snug fit on new brass(they are not all the same, beware of this issue, and measure shoulder to base with an oversize ogive gauge).
