Take it for what it is worth and don't get me wrong. While the 600 series action has its draw backs, if you find one that you like for a reasonable price and don't want to change anything other than glass or finish, they are awesome little rifles.
They balance well and handle real fast. Most that I have had shoot better than good and they have a nice blued finish not like this stuff today.
Just don't buy one and want to accessorize it. That is where the problems start. Otherwise they are a fine rifle.
Also I would stay away from the magnum chambering in the 600. It just doesn't work well in that chassis. Imo.
