my wife's got 3 hummingbird feeders on the back porch, and they can get quite busy. We sit out often in the evening for the entertainment, the other night there were 7 of those little suckers flying around, sounded like a mini airport-helipad. If you want a real thrill wear a red shirt, and safety glasses...LOL :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Retirement is a great adventure
 
Found out I had miss identified what I thought were falcons. They apparently are the Swainson's Hawk.

What threw me off is that I estimated wingspan on these birds to be a couple of feet since there is nothing to judge by and the Swainson's hawk has a four foot wingspan according to all the books. Sure fooled me.

Unfortunately, our hawks have left for their annual migration to Argentina, according to the books, as we saw six at one time a week or so ago and haven't seen one since. :cry: Guess I'll have to find another passtime......c'mon cooler weather; there's still a trip to Memorial Park on the list.
