I never imagined myself owning a Ruger product. I also, after reluctantly buying this rifle based on some very admirable features, did not think I was going to love the thing as much as I do.
As mentioned somewhere, It shoulders just like an AR15 does, it is pleasantly light, and shoots Sierra's #2136 very, very well so far. I have not adjusted the gas block yet, and have yet to attach my suppressor.

So far I loaded up 10 shots of N140, N135 and H4895. All shot well, but H4895 won the shoot out because of a bit better velocity. I have a lot of experience loading 308 with 16" barrels so I knew the proper charge weights to use, and velocity/pressure targets to aim for.
I am done! I just loaded up the rest of the box with H4895 and the rifle is almost ready to hunt. I just need to go back and fine tune the zero with the suppressor, and tinker with the gas setting.
My guess is the Sierra 150gr HPV would should good out of any barrel, with any reasonable powder.
It flat out shoots great with the 3 powders I tried. This rifle is hard on brass. Its OK.. I have lots of 2X or 3X fired brass in bins to use up, and toss out.
