actually doing a trigger job on a ruger is quick easy. sometimes it takes longer to take it out of the stock than it does to fix the trigger. Take the barreled action out of the stock and notice the single pin that holds the mechanism in place. Drift the pin out and there is a single spring which provides all the tnesion. Go down to a hardware store and fing a similar spring but much lighter and replace the original one. DO NOT CUT off the original or replacement. if you do you will screw up the engagement. If this isn't enough, then hone the surfaces a bit. I've found that just with the right spring I can get a 2# trigger with no effort whatsover.
