How could drunk crowd goers spot the shooter at ground level...pointing and screaming shooter yet law enforcement did nothing?

A volunteer fire department would have been more effective than the police on scene.

I agree, however you would probably be surprised at how far "hiding in plain sight" can you get.

I don't know why, but all of a sudden "KEYSTONE COPS" just popped into my mind, haven't even thought about them for about 60 years!
Funny that you mentioned a volunteer fire dept, or some coyote hunters being more effective, I also thought the Hells Angles could have done a better job providing security!
Trump is one of the luckiest people to be alive, he better be very very careful from here on, the next attempt may not have the same outcome.
It's been mentioned and is quite evident, the short secret service woman, I would say that she did her job, but because of her stature there was still a pretty open head shot available had there been another shooter.
 
Now in from Butler, cop tried to get to his pistol but fell. Was supported by another LEO. Local LE were on 'parking lot' duty. US SS boss stated nobody on that roof as it has a pitch and unsafe. But the sniper team were on higher pitched roof. She should be canned permanently (DEI phsyc major).

A fire hose would have been very effective at preventing him from shooting allowing them to arrest him and question his motive and find out if there are co-conspiritors...

The ss sniper should have been able to disable his firearm without needing permission to take him out by shooting the action/optic. Shoot first ask questions later is the best practice. Even if the ss sniper got fired for disobedience it would be better than the death of candidate and/or innocent bystanders on his conscience.

People yelling gun should have put an instant chain of events in action that cause the candidate to be secured and scene locked down before any shots were fired.

Nonetheless whomever who put the rules of engagement in place is more than likely complicit in the assassination attempt.

Secret service was responsible for the security and had jurisdiction over local police . Passing blame is not an option... look at the Uvalde situation, the local police hid while a military veteran father with a borrowed gun from a barber shop went and neutralized the shooter.

More than likely the police were only interested in harassing the public by looking for potential public intoxication convictions that would yield probation fees. "Serving and protecting" is a thing of the past.

If a citizen stepped in and played the hero by throwing rocks I'd be willing to bet those same police would have persecuted the hero.

These leftist ideologies have destroyed the moral fiber of America....... I could rant for days about the America of my childhood that I miss so much.

It's really sad that Cheatle thought that she needed to lie once again. That roof has a 1 in 12 pitch which is practically flat. This simply means that the roof sloped, or pitched, 1" for every 12" of width. The roof that the sniper team we saw on TV looked to be a 3 in 12 pitch. Still not much of a hazard, but they were on it. It just goes to show how stupid they think we are, and how superior they believe they are :poop:🤬.
