Anyone use one? How do you like it? Where do you buy them? Cabelas has given it favorable reviews but they are out of stock midway same deal Natchezz has them but it cost way to much for shipping

Anyway I use sticks and like them but this looks better

I really like mine and have the extra swivel stud adapters on 4 different rifles. I like em better than sticks, about as solid as I can ask for in the field. I could live with out them, but would hate to have to.

I have the attachements on all of my guns. I wouldn't go hunting without them. Mine stays in the gun case to ensure I don't forget them. I consider them to be an essential part of my gear list when I pack for a hunt. Better than sticks and don't add the weight a regular bipod would. Makes it nice to be able to use on mulitple guns. Get them, you won't be sorry.

Quote:"anyone use the folding ones that are like the fold up sticks?"
I had a set of those, but "upgraded" (in my opinion) to one of their monopods, both with the Y-shaped yoke, or with the rapid pivot connector to a monopod.

If you are 99% guaranteed the critter will come from X direction and that's how you set up the X or cross sticks (folding ones), they work well.

It's the 99% of the time when you DON'T know from where the critter will come from, that the "rapid pivot" (2 key words!) really shines.

Good luck!

I have those 3 piece shooting sticks and they work pretty good so far, I also have a Caldwell 13-23" bipod but both have their pros and cons, are these rapid pivots like bipods but you can swivel the gun all around on top where there mounted? Cause I was just talking to a friend about how I havent seen any like that and thought they would be the ticket.

I'll start by saying that they are very versatile and are the best thing that I have tried so far for coyote hunting... But, I can't believe that I am the only on to have this problem with them. The flexible rubber splits/tears. I'm now on my third pair, same problem every time. This seems to be related to using them in cold weather as they are less flexible and more brittle.

Ok I used these all weekend 29 stands and these were abou tthe only thing that went right as teh dogs were not co operating but thats another story

I think that these are the perfect blend of the fold up shooting sticks and a harris type bipod. They are very flexible and I was worried on different terrain I may have to adjust the legs but I did not touch them once!

Great product everyone should have some!

I have used mine for about three years and the perform flawlessly time after time. Also got another attachment for my .243 so two guns, one bi-pod. To answer dzlfarmboys question, yes the rotate 360 degrees at the mount which come in real handy when trying to get on target. you dont have to move around alot and reposition your bipod, just rotate and shoot. Must have for all predator hunters in my opinion. Josh

Cool so these pods give you ability pick up on a moving target and move with it without having to move the feet like a Caldwell or Harris 23" bipod?????

And are these and the versa pod 50 series very simular in features as far as the Tilt, Cant, swivel??

I would really like to get my hands on one of these two to see first hand, you can only tell so much with online pictures.

I have been using rapid pivots for 4 years. Best thing out there. We use the sitting length one and carry the prone version in our pocket. Problem is you need to have a spare as we also have problems with the yoke splitting due to the extreme temps up here in North Dakota. I called Bushnell and they wouldn't sell me just the yoke. Yes I offered to pay for them. I would have ordered half a dozen but they said no. I have to send the whole thing in. Could take weeks. Wish they would used a better grade rubber for cold temps.
