Swarovski Scopes?

Anyone have experience with Swarovski scopes? About everyone I have talked to has said they are about the clearest glass around. I just ordered one of their Z5 models for an upper Mike is building. How do they compare to NF, Leupold, Zeiss or other popular glass?

You will love this scope. I would say my Swaros are a tad brighter in low light, but the lit reticle and turret adjustments still have me favoring my Nightforce dollar for dollar.

I had a Swaro AV 4-12*50 and it had some excellent glass. I never did compare it to my NF's though.

A few weeks back I traded the Swaro towards a NF since it was going to fit my application better.

Swarovskis are great. I have several. Well made, great glass. Better then the Leupold and Conquests that I have had. If you look around you can find good deals on the discontinued PH line. That's how I've acquired many of mine...

I have the Z5 5X25 with the ballistic turrent on a REMINGTON VSSF in 204 Ruger. Glass is better than NF, Leupold or the conquest ( I can see 204 holes in paper without a spotting scope at 300 yds. ) but a slight step below S&B, Zeiss victory or the Z6 series. It leaves me wanting nothing more.

My Z5 tracks perfect and holds zero even after riding days on my atv gunrack. The BT works perfect with the ballistic program Swaro provides on their web site.

It is slim and light weight for a 5-25 x52.

Excellent scope that wont dissapoint!

The one I ordered was a demo and was quite a bit cheaper than sticker. For around the price of a nice Leupold, I couldn't say no. It is a 5-25X52 with fine duplex, no ballistic turrets. I don't normally turn knobs, so it wasn't a factor on this one. Just going to be used for groundhogs and the occasional coyote on a .20 Tac. Good to hear they are such clear scopes.

Let us know how you like it.
It'll be a sweetheart if the glass is like their binos!

I've had a couple of Swarovski's and three NF's and in all honesty I can't tell much if any difference between the glass on either. It gets to a point that a scope is so good that you can't pick it and both of those are at that point in my opinion...

Good to know they work in low light. Thanks for all the reviews guys. I've never had a scope this nice before, so hopefully I'm in for a treat.

IMHO out of the box Swarovski is the finest glass avaialable.
Not to discount NF or S&B or even USO because all have fine glass but I believe Swarovski to be better.
I just received a new Z6i 1-6 and it is fantastic. When I look at it compared to my other scopes I can clearly see the difference. (Not to mention their new illumination technology) But you also see the difference in price. My only wish is that Swarovski would take a serious step into the tactical marketplace. Right now they focus almost completely on hunting, which is why you don't see more of them. The company as a whole is dedicated to hunting and birding more than anything else
I have been a Swarovski dealer for many years and I can say with all honesty, the company and the products are first class all the way. If you spend the money you will not be disappointed.

Swarvoski is the best in optics and at the range you'll see it was the best scope you will ever buy. I got Night Force and I like made in America but I put Swarvoski on for money shoots.

i had an AV model and didnt think it was any better than my conquest. i like the glass in my IOR a lot better than either. maybe i need to try a higher end swaro.
