Did you miss the part were I said"I'll have to drag a little boot though"???It's in the last sentence.I think that varmint ret is"a little too busy"for me.I'm normally shootin at running game and I think that ret. has a little to much going on.I got my shooting bench just right out the back door and bought a 26"hb fluted 17fireball.I thought it might be kinda neat shooting swingers on a breezy day.But I put a 10x leupold on that gun and it aint come off since.Would you be interested in a sraight 10x Leupold? has and ao and I beleive they call it their cpc ret.But I'm not for sure.

Ive had a Tasco 3-18x40 ballistic rangefining scope on my 77V .220 swift since 1974 with ZERO issues EVER.
Shot it in all weather conditions, rain, snow, dust, mud and everything else under the sun and the scope performed perfectly, the gun was even was dropped a few times and had no effect on the scope.
Ive owned 6 over the years with perfect results all around.

Falconman,I spent most of the day chasing deer running beagles.They can move a rabbit pretty well,but when I deer jumps up the rabbit chase is over.They're only 7 months old so I hate to get too rough on them,but next time I takem out they'll be wearing shocking collars and I'll have them wired to blow.Quickest way to bust up a race I know of.Tomorrow we're running the coyote hounds in the morning,and then it sounds like we'll get rained out.If that happens I'll try to get the scope sent out to ya tomorrow.
