The adventure of a Lifetime!!! Totch on the trail of a Grizzly...

I am just a lurker but this wait is killing me.

You would be a shoe in for one of those hunt of a lifetime essay contests...great story.
 
Add my name to the club that keeps checking in to see how this hunt that was over months ago ends. If we were talking a deer or antelope I'd have moved on long ago but this a grizzly hunt! I just don't hear first hand accounts of grizzly hunts often enough to pass up such a great story so well told.
 
Haven't you heard? The last day out, the griz got Totch.

Seriously, if he got flooded out, that's bad. My family was caught in a flood when I was about nine and we lost everything. He has my sympathy and I wish him the best recovering. The story can wait.

It's better than any Outdoor Life story I've read in years, but it can wait.

This is terrible....Spring bear season closed months ago and fall hunting is already open......

um....I have been off here for a couple of months. Been back on a few times the last week or so....just found this thread and I cant hardly take it.......this story is awesome.....do we need a search party for Totch? I know chicks dig bear hunters, but come on.......

I don't get down in the clubhouse much. But I was down there tonight, and saw that ol' totch has been actually posting. Well he sure hasn't actually been posting on this old thread. Heck, I been trying to follow this deal everytime someone posts, thinking we'll get the lowdown.....

I don't know about any of y'all, but new girl and problems, or not, I am done wasting anymore of my time to check this thread for his update...... I may just check it out to see what OTHERS have to say,tho........grin

When I look at the photo at the first, of Totch standing beside the Continental Divide sign, and then the one on horseback..... It's apparent that he was losing weight while tramping up and down those gullies and mountain sides....

Now that he's returned, started on the story and met a sweetie,,,, I'm sure he's lost more weight.... Now with the normal depression of going through major water damage ( I know I got depressed when we lost a bunch in the '93 floods),
I'm starting to wonder if he is still around, or just wasted away....

Finish what you started Totch. Now that your back and we dont have to be concerned for your safety and well being anymore, this is getting down right ridiculous. I understand a busy life. Trust me I do. I work two jobs so I know what its like. But, this has ceased to be amusing.
 
No worries boys. Dave aka "The edge" is making a knife set for Totch but hes not getting it shipped untill he finishes this story. So hopefully Totch wants his knives bad enough to finish this story. That is EXACTLY what I was thinking. He needs to get his priorities straight.
 
Talked to him Friday and he was having 'putor problems. Sent it off to be fixed. He was going to finish the story last weekend. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
